Universe 9 is probably getting erased premature (and 4 with it), considering they've show zero extra designs for them, and that universe already ranked lowest for somewhat obvious selfish reasons. Real question is whether Goku, Freeza, and Vegeta, with that 'can do alone' comment will realize they're probably why they're ranked second lowest. You know, Zamasu's point about ningen and all that. I hope they pay off on that.
also, that angel looked smug as fuck when the GoDs were planning their thing. That's the look of someone who's not getting erased, but knows some guys are about to be.

Great ep. The stuff with the kids was well done, piccalo and 17 was a great touch, and even frieza's return was done really well.

Ahh the whole Goku and Frieza thing has been so good. I guess I gotta say it but I'm glad they decided to go this route. Frieza's assholish personality suits him so well it's unbelievable, I guess we really needed someone like that in the team. Gonna rewatch the episode right now lol, I totally loved it.
Marron means chestnut in french. Kuri (kuririn is Krilin's actual name in japanese) means chestnut.

Maron was created by the anime team and was filler, they were just looking for a name that could have a connection with Krilin. I don't know if Toriyama picked the name intentionally close or if he ignored Maron's existence.

Was on board with Frieza being back but I was worried they wouldn't do his character justice here.
This ep threw all my fears away. Him scraping Goku's cheek with the death beam while killing the assassin was a highlight.

The only way I can see it happening was that 18 came up with the name (but she didn't know about the ex) and Krillin couldn't get a word in to deny her until afterwards and 18 stays quiet 'cause she knows it was her screwup.
