Okay, I loved this episode! Between the interactions between 17, 18, Krillin, and Piccolo, and the way Goku and Frieza greet each other, this episode's been a huge treat for me. I especially loved the teasing of a rematch between 17 and Piccolo (even if, at this point, 17 would probably win soundly).
Also, are they hinting at Marron actually being something more than a side character in the future? Probably wishful thinking on my part, but even just having the possibility piques my interest quite a bit. I can only wonder what they have planned...

I completely skipped the RoF retelling so I didn't know they composed a new one for him. Was definitely a treat hearing that chorus during that section. That plus the sweet animation for his transformation single-handedly redeemed bringing back Frieza yet again for me.

To be fair, Jackie Chun stole the Maximum Power form from Roshi.
Edit: Wait a second, isn't it kind of weird you never see Roshi and Jackie Chun together?
And Yamcha confirmed they're not the same person.
Wait, he's never seen Chun fight. Roshi's a liar as well.
It was very consistent throughout, so along with good writing and interaction between characters, it made for a great episode despite not having any action whatsoever.
We've seen them together before.

The weird thing is that Zeno hasn't shown a character beyond bored childlike and wanting a friend. THe probably would stay in his room not caring if not for the Grand Priest doing stuff. So the Gods fearing him specifically if he notices is weird when future Zeno never cared when all the kais and Gods were killed.
This is one thing i hope they explain in future arcs would be interesting

This was a very pretty episode. Next episode doesn't look like a slouch either.
Goku was dead during Saiyaman's life.
He might be Super Saiyaman though. He said that movie was boring to protect his identity.
Every episode since the episode of the exhibition match has been character development for either one of our universes characters or other universes. There's only been one episode I didn't like, and another that was controversial.

Frieza wanted to bring these assassin's to justice. Goku wanted to leave them to destroy the earth.
Nah, I've heard he's turned over a new leaf. He's apparently a really good guy now.
Real heroes don't kill. Unlike the evil Goku who will try to kill all of them. I'm sure Frieza will spend half the episode trying to stop Goku, and sparing all of them.
