He was whistling along with the background music in episode 20!
The dub is so good.
When Bulma walks up to see Jaco "Oh hey, it's you Jaco that makes more sense. My son said a Taco was here to see me, which sounded odd but I learned to be ready for anything"

As far as I'm concerned, this episode confirmed Maron is canon, Krillin is fucked up, and 18 knows about it but doesn't speak about it.

This episode was oozing with smart character interactions, I loved it. My favorite is Roshi at Korin's place.

I could see this being a happing since he's transforming now to fight randoms while the tournament itself starts in minutes.
I ducked out of watching it live last night since Herms wasn't translating.
Highlights of the episode for me were Roshi training at Korin's (Him forgetting he couldn't fly lol) and Krillin trying to force conversation with 17, along with 17 and Marron conversing.
Also god damn did I appreciate this:

The tournament arc is starting pretty soonish too, which is exciting. It just dawned on me that it would be about 7 more episodes until we're there.
Goku doesn't lie or deceive people. Unless their his friends.

Kitera seems like a more mischievous GoD, plotting with Sidra on Frieza's destruction yet not telling him his real motives behind this chat.
Looking forward to more team work and interactions between Goku and Frieza though, can see them respecting each other more by the end of the tournament I think.
And I love Android 17 in this, one of my favourite characters in Super. Great interaction with others and his humour is appreciated. You can tell he's really changed - the handshake with Picollo was great.

Yes. It feels like it's getting better every arc.
It's being dubbed now, it airs every week on Toonami/Adult Swim and the blu-rays are starting to release soon but it's about 70 episodes behind the Japanese version which is unforunate. (and it's still on the movie recaps afaik)

I was originally against Freeza coming back, but at least for this ep it's given the series an edge it was lacking for a long time.

Shouldn't Frieza want to get a Turquoise Frieza transformation or something? He made his latest form Golden to mock the Super Saiyan transformation but he didn't know Goku and Vegeta had unlocked Super Saiyan Blue at the time.

Buu fell into a coma and won't wake up in time.
So they needed a strong ally, and Frieza was the strongest guy from U7 they could think of. So they asked Baba to bring him back for 24 hours.
Makes sense with Kale being the equivalent of Broli, despite Broli not being "canon" so to speak. Instead of having a hate-on for Goku/Cauliflowa like Broli, Kale has a crush on him/her!
