For everyone else: They wrote a couple of articles on their method for the style. Technologically it is absolutely nothing extravagant or advanced at all, it's just really clever and a lot of manual work

Goku's brow looks a little weird in the DBFZ image. It's protruding slightly, rather than drawn flatly on his face.

Gold Freiza does look kind of like it might be a super though. But Gold Freiza is also from pre super since Ressurection F was technically a Z movie. Though I do hope we get Beerus playable
