It's continued in the start of the Rocket League GOTY video too. I watched the start of it on a whim the other day since I wanted to see the intro bit (since I'd seen most of the others) and burst out laughing when I realized what was happening.

Yup. Like I said in the other thread, it's the alt-right way: taint to stop a liberal idea before it can potentially gain ground in the vast middle of society.

Sad thing is, there's been some real debate on what UBI and a lowering employment necessity (from automation) will do to society, plus a number of sci-fi books going back decades exploring the matter. But nooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooOOOOOOoooo...

Warren, while not terrible, was a generic nerd boy that the game refused to let me push away (towards another totally viable love interest) because it kept making them get closer in cutscenes. He 100% felt like the type of dude that would start whining about the friendzone if the game ever actually let you outright reject him. (Meanwhile Chloe is very good, and cool, and I don't understand why people hate her.)

This is the first year I've rolled with the Bombcast conference play-by-play and it has been infinitely more enjoyable.
Normally I've just been scoping out the after party during the week where they play Jenga and rip on Johnny V.

Warren is creepier when you notice that he too is a stalker.
