Don't worry we're getting Arc System's music which is much better than Faulconer ever was.
Considering they didn't shy away from an "outdated" Vegeta look, I'd be surprised if they picked this Future Trunks.

Detail is so good in this game. Notice the tiles of the tourney floor getting trashed when hit with impacts.

FUCK ME, I just watched the gameplay!!!!!!! Lost my shit throughout the course of the demo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE, LIKE ACTUALLY BETTER THAN MY DREAMS ABOUT THIS GAME AS A KID... As much as I prefer the OG music, don't be hating on the Faulconer brehs.
Faulconer's character themes are pretty solid and honestly Faulconer's music fit way better tonally with the the entire Gohan/Cell Kamehameha beam struggle and death. The big problem with the Faulconer music was more due to audio levels/mixing more so than the themes themselves.

I mean other than how beefy he is he's wearing the outfit he does in most of Super.
Same can be said about Goku, he's really beefy, but wearing the outfit introduced in BoG.

Terrible music is terrible. So cant really blame anyone for hating on it.
So trying judge by UI Elements, im gonna guess this game has 18-20 characters. At the very maximum, I could see like 22-24 (obviously this is schedule to change)
Also, based off of my looking at the UI, all the villains look to be one side, and all the heroes look to be on the other, , so we're going to get a half hero half villain character list.
So far we have
1. SSJ Goku
2. SSJ Vegeta
3. SSJ2 Gohan
4. Majin Buu
5. Frieza
6. Perfect Cell
So we have 12 more character slots (possibly) and 6 heroes and 6 villains.
If I were to guerss the Heroes, it would be...
1. Tien
2. Piccolo
3. Krillin
4. Teen Trunks
5. Mystic Gohan
6. Mr Satan
And if I were to guess the villains
1. Nappa
2. Android 17 or 18

It was great!
It is funny because HnK ended up being one of the most broken fighting games ever (and in a weird sense, it balanced out because everyone had dumb shit), but I -still- see Japanese players doing tournaments for the game even today.
