Game is running smoother than Xbox Series S version (30 fps) and Handheld PC like the Steamdeck (unplayable) ROG Ally (sub 25 fps)

Is this a 1-for-1 Monster Hunter copy or does it do things to cater to noobs such as myself? I could never get into MH as the overall gameplay loop is far too slow and cumbersome for me. Does Wild Hearts speed things up a bit?

The game itself is very nice looking, but the Fortnite-style building and the fact that some weapon types were gated behind progression really turned me off.

The kakemono (or whatever they call the wooden structures) building makes it apart from monster hunter, but the gameplay loop is mostly the same still. Hunt a huge beast, try to take it down, have it flee somewhere, pursue it, kill it, do that again. Only you can build springboards to jump onto the monster, walls to stop his charge, ziplines for quick traversal, etc.
The japanese flair is really nice tho, you sometimes have the impression you are in a ghibli movie when you venture into dense forest (like in the first level).

edit : By the way it looks much less muddier and with a more stable framerate than the PS4 version, even played on ps5

WARNING: DO NOT BUY WILD HEARTS ⚠️

Save your money and your sanity. Despite its potential and beautiful concept, Wild Hearts is plagued with:
  • Game-breaking bugs
  • Poor performance across platforms
  • Abandonware-level support
  • No meaningful updates or fixes
  • Frustrating gameplay issues that ruin the fun
EA and Koei Tecmo have effectively abandoned the game, leaving players in the dust. Don't fall into the trap.

Great game design but incredibly broken (and I really can`t stress enough just how broken it was) implementation.
This trainwreck makes Monster Hunter Wilds RE Engine issues look "good" in comparison. If the Switch 2 version is anywhere near the level of technological incompetence of the last release then it`s definitely a "HANDS OFF!" situation.
