Dragon Ball FighterZ - Gameplay Footage - 60 FPS Direct Feed

This looks so good, and I'm definitely giving it a shot despite being generally bad at 2D fighting games. This looks like the kind of game I'd want to get better at.

As long as the specials and supers arent shit like Extreme it should turn out pretty well.

Cell is a bit too bulky and his face colors are messy up close, as well as his texture spot that gets pixelated on close ups.

Vegeta is a bit underwhelming, has a lot of bad anatomy pose (look at his legs) and suffers from the same issue Goku has , the 3/4 angle that makes his face looks a bit flat. But he looks great overall, this is nitpicking.

Goku is the worst outside of his kicks and his ultra that is phenomenal.

Keep in mind that "the worst" in a game that looks incredible doesn't mean it looks bad.

I don't really have any issues with Cell other than the low resolution of his spots.
I personally love Vegeta's model.

The only thing I'd change is make him a bit less bulky, but I get that they're going for Cell arc Super Vegeta, so it's fine.
Vegeta's face is always messed up in the 3D games (he's particularly messed up in Xenoverse), so the fact that he FINALLY looks right makes me so damn happy.
As a general thing I think they should tone down the bloom on the game though.

It's not like we're not gonna buy the game because of it.

Plus the only reason we noticed it is because it looks bad compared to the rest that is outstanding.
 
This game.... this fucking game. So much hype. Right into my veins. Can't wait to see more at E3. Hopefully some of the fighting game pros will be at E3 and can tear the game down and see what's under that gorgeous paint.

Also, I absolutely suck at fighting games, but I will be getting this day fucking Z E R O

I'm a filthy fighting game casual that's never watched an episode of DBZ in his 38 years of life. Yet this is easily the coolest thing i've seen at E3 this year so far.

looks like they're using the Buu Saga reference for Vegeta, which is hands down the best. I love it.

I personally think he was at his best looking when he was swole like that.

He's alot shorter than Goku, but his definition (with his fighting stance) always made him look really menacing in combat.


Super's rendition of him looks so off to me. He's way too slim.
 
ASW has perfected fighting game production value. This is how we fantasized fighting games would look back in the 90s, and now it's real.
 
My favorite Vegeta look is the Buu saga one. He looks great in this game, but I do wish they went for a slimmer version.
 
Most unique characters they can put in the game based off fighting styles and moves. I expect Arc to throw in some character from left field.
