I keep rewatching footage and...
Gohan's intro is awe inspiring so I don't understand how they let Goku's butchering happen.
I get it's an homage to Z's opening creditz, but it looks so stiff, and the base model looks kinda bad compared to everything else in the game.
That makes playing blue Goku mandatory. Or never having Goku as first character lmao.
Maybe that's why, it's so that people pick different starter character.

For me that moment worked, because you had this serious crisis, with people dying left and right, and this kinda happened out of the blue. The contrast is what made it funny for me.
Original Dragon Ball, had so many funny moments that never were replicated properly in the next series. Maybe that chapter when Goku tries to learn to drive, now that was great. Because Goku >>>>> Gohan. Always. Forever.

I'm disappointed of how bad of an opinion this is. There are two types of bad people in the Dragon Ball fandom. The people who think TeamFourStar is the "best" English dub and who want to bring back Bio Broli.
Gohan and Vegeta's models are on point. Gohan's intro is so perfect, I can't get over it.

Ship the game with Japanese audio set on default and make it where the dub fans have to do the konami code in a certain part of the menu to unlock English audio.

I'd say people who insist TFS be included are even worse.
seems like it's about as fast barring wavedashes (none of this footage is high level play anwyays). everyone has an instant teleport so far and you can have 2 assists out simultaneously so I feel like it's going end up being pretty intense

I like both. Grew up on the dub and am currently watching super in Japanese. So it wouldn't bother me at all if the game released with only Japanese voices. But yeah that's not gonna happen.
