QTEs are a real downer
I generally hate them, but I'm fine with them in David Cage games. It's not taking away from the gameplay because it is the gameplay, and there are always branching options for when you fuck up. QTEs are at their worst when they are just a cut scene you can fail. Quantic Dream games just keep going and you deal with the consequences, plus the animations change significantly depending on whether and where you fail.
