Oh man that definetly worries me a bit. A dedicated button to special moves AND being able to to auto-combo out of Light and Mediums? Why not just make a stylish mode at this point?

The special attack button likely isn't what you think it is.
I hope i'm wrong and it's just a dedicated Ki button that works like Blazblue's Drive or something. Still having 2 auto-combos is a bit too much.
Auto combos suck and are generally avoided in almost every scenario every button could do it and it wouldnt mean much.I hope i'm wrong and it's just a dedicated Ki button that works like Blazblue's Drive or something. Still having 2 auto-combos is a bit too much.
I wouldn't mind if they did something new with the story mode, actually. Something more creative like Budokai 2's board game thing for example, telling their own story instead of adhering to the anime's events.
I see "X/Y button mash : ??per combo" so I can only be terrified of the missing two letters.
No ... frickin ... way.

Really?cant tell if this is from the anime or the game tbh

Really?
Probably because there's no PC release in Japan.
That's... surprising.
I swear if the PC release doesn't have the JP dub and/or features weird Faulconer-like OST shenanigans, I'll cry. I'm not getting the game if that's the case. A similar thing happened with Diablo 3, where the original PC release had Korean but not Japanese, and the Japanese version stayed console-exclusive.
Speaking of soundtrack, it's a shame the Kikuchi OST once again didn't make it into a DB game apparently. Not that it's surprising at this point, but disappointing nonetheless. The game is visually so faithful to the anime -- I mean seriously, they nailed the colors and shading, unlike Burst Limit in its time -- that not having the original background music is a crying shame.

yeah i don't get this sentiment tbh. Yes the game looks really good. It is also easily discernible from the anime.

That side shot of Cells face would fool anyone who didn't know about this game.
No ... frickin ... way.

Is this game of the show? Does anything else have this much style? You're literally playing a beautiful goddam anime.
Pretty easy though. If it looks insanely good it's from the game. If it looks rather iffy it's from Super.

It is, but it's not there (being mistaken for the anime) yet. That Cell gif is pretty impressive though, yeah.Seems clear to me it's meant as a compliment. They're basically saying the attention to detail is very good.
The anime rarely if ever looked this good.

"I was getting bored, good thing you showed up"."I was hoping for a diversion"
What does that even mean in this context

^ Showcased in that video is Vegeta Assist used like Cold star to lock down and do a 50-50.
Can someone GIF Gohan's victory scene in that new video. Thanks.
"I was getting bored, good thing you showed up".
I took it as him saying he was hoping for someone to fight to divert him away from being bored or destroying everything.
You're the best.
