So our asshole president going to make everyone feel better?
He is going to make the people that matter feel better. Himself

You DO realize more than Congresspersons were hit, right? Or are we going to go with, "Meh, they should have known better than to be near the GOP members?"
I agree with you wholeheartedly. What many of us are saying is that this type of backlash should not be surprising when you have a party that has systemically dismantled the social safety net and vociferously opposes any legislation to restore it. Eventually some are gonna snap, especially those not in the ruling class, who are protected from these economic troubles.
It's horrible and ineffective. Yes, we need to vote, but backlash like this should not be surprising. Again, explaining is not condoning it.
being victimized by institutional violence is not monopolized by jewish people.
I've met this suspect. I live in OFallon which is about 10 minutes from Belleville.
The thought of what will spew from 45s piehole terrifies me. Probably going to tell all supporters to gear up.
He's so quick to jump on this, yet still never said a word regarding those two brave men killed in Portland.
Perfectly normal to be worried of the repercussions this could have in this policial climate. Doesnt mean you dont feel for the victims.
Wait, what's going to get better in 2018?Man I didn't need to see this waking up. This one incident will make the right-wing say 'So much for the tolerant left' but still ignore the gun control issue. Trump speaking about this is the worst. 2018 can't come any sooner.
youdontsay?.memeTrump will politicize this, watch.
The attack itself was political.... it's already politicized.Trump will politicize this, watch.
Hopefully people getting out there and voting out people, that's what!Wait, what's going to get better in 2018?
Trump could take this as an opportunity to unify. A sane person would.
Trump is not sane.
Democrats are getting blamed... SHOCKING!
Rep. Chris Collins (R-NY) on Wednesday linked the political rhetoric of Democrats to the shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) and others at a baseball field in Alexandria, Va.
"I can only hope that the Democrats do tone down the rhetoric," Collins told WBEN. "The rhetoric has been outrageous ... the finger-pointing, just the tone and the angst and the anger directed at Donald Trump, his supporters."
It took him entirely too long, but untrue. He did comment on it.
Hopefully people get out and vote, that's what!
Trump shouldn't say anything.
The only thing he can do is inflame the situation with his divisive political bullshit.
His press release was fine by itself, even if he didn't write it. That's all he needs to do.
I've always maintained that extremists on the Left (my "side", I guess) bother me far more than extremists on the Right, mostly because they muddy our waters more than extremists on the other side do.

He made a lame late Twitter comment. He did not address the nation.

Yeah well. Go read a book, kiddo. Or talk to some of those privileged white cisgendered jews still alive who survived this literal hell on earth. When they were children. Like my granddad for example. I'd give you his AOL address, but he died 10 years ago from brain cancer, madly raving in his last moments about how his mother was dust in the air.
That evil, evil, white cisgendered oppressor.
I mean however you feel about all of this, today was an attack on the leadership of the ruling political party. That's kind of an important contextual detail.Amazing two people are killed trying to stand up to white nationalist and the most Trump could muster is a tweet from the POTUS handle. For this he is running out to make a televised statement.
Seemed fine, we were having a home inspected back in 2014 that we ended up passing on.How would you describe him?
