Is it weird that I'm starting to worry about the annual Giant Bomb staff member leaving announcement on day 3?
Well Patrick left during GOTY and Drew announced it at the end of a Bombcast. So yeah, you should be worried... about the last 5 minutes of any Giantbomb content.

I could see him taking a more diminished role (not anytime soon), but I don't think he would ever leave completely.
I didn't intend to, but it's hot out and I'm exhausted so I'm just gonna catch up on what I missed of Day 1 while playing Zelda.
And then watch Day 2 while playing Zelda.
Watching 3 segments last night was a bad idea due to how late even that went, particularly as I wasn't really concentrating/had connection issues for the 3rd but kept watching. So hopefully the first 2 segments tonight are good as that's all I'll be watching. In particular, I really hope they don't dedicate a full segment to Phil Spencer because while I'm sure that's interesting to someone, I have 0 interest in MS stuff currently so it'll be doing nothing for me.

I could only see Jeff leaving if he decided to go full corporate and run whatever division Gamespot and GB are under, and even then I doubt it. Dude will probably be here until he retires

For the longest time I was like "WHY DO I KNOW THE NAME JANINA GAVANKAR," because I don't watch TV so I would never have seen her on the stuff that actually made her popular, and I looked through her list of voice actor credits and couldn't find anything that I'd obviously know her from.

I did and liked it fine. But like, he's been "directing" the Metal Gear movie for months now, without any official announcement about how he's directing the Metal Gear movie.
They should get him on the bombcast one of these days. In the past he talked about how Shadow of the Colossus was an influence on the Kong monsters. And Journey, Okami, Zelda, Gundam, Mega Man X, etc.
