Is ESPN taking over the UFC television rights? SAS is blowing Dana hard .

Boxing....
Yikes. I love boxing but cmon man. How do you look at the compubox and decide the dude who only landed 15% of his shots (compared to 32%) won? smh
the next time he says something remotely insightful or interesting will be the first time. He has the most basic, rudimentary knowledge of the shit he talks about, he just yells it so people think it's interesting. LIstening to him try and talk about boxing when Max Kellerman is employed by the same company is painful.
If you care just about punch numbers then stick to ameteur boxing.
At the end of the day, those stats are composed by two guys who are capable of making mistakes.
Oh silly me....I forgot "heart" and "aggression" count towards scoring now somehow...
Just stop....there is no compelling argument for Horn winning this fight, going by the numbers and yes by watching it.
Horn had the "X" Factor. The Yanks and ESPN just don't get it

😂😂😂Damn. I knew being American was bad but didn't know it was that bad :'(
I should practice more MvC3 now to improve my X Factor usage!

Aggression as in ring generalship doesn't count for scoring?
WHAT!?!
Aggression as in a form of ring generalship doesn't count for scoring?
WHAT!?!
Effective aggression....as if you have to land....with something other than your head or elbow.
Counter-punching don't count now?No, it is not the only focus, but constantly backing up your opponent and forcing them to only rely on counter punching should.
And as I said, those numbers are done by humans. Just relying on compubox scores is pointless.
If you mean land twice as many punches...I thought pac got robbed...
However if you let the other guy throw twice as many punches as you then..
Counter-punching don't count now?
But you know what? let's stop beating around the bush, do you think Horn won? if so, which rounds did you have him win?
Because maaaaaaaaaan, I'm struggling to see that and I didn't even check the compubox until I went to this thread.
p.s.
Once you're done doing 115-113 you can move to Master Ninja Difficulty and explain the 117-111 score.
THIS.
Usually it's the non boxing fan or casual boxing fan who thinks simply being the aggressor means you should win the round.
We call it ineffective aggression.

If you mean land twice as many punches...
Yeah, Manny did that, too.
I honestly don't understand how you throw 600+ punches, land 90~, and win without a Knockdown or TKO.
No, watching it made Horn look a winner, just. The stats look better for Manny.
My man you call yourself a hardcore fan, you think that's how it worked for the past half century? That's how it should be on paper but come on. Alot of judges see and score aggression even if punches don't land. If "ineffective aggression" wasn't scored like you say, there are bunch of Mexican fighters including the great JCC would have a bunch of questionable losses right now.
I wonder how on earth Pacquiao won 2 of the 4 Marquez fights if this were the case.
We must've watched a different fight because watching a guy charge in like a bull with his head down, flail with wild punches, constantly throwing forearms and elbows....oh and being out on his feet in the 9th after being pounded on doesn't exactly scream "winner" to me.
Oh, I have seen plenty of judges score ineffective aggression and activity over landing clean punches. It's usually where a lot of robberies stem from. Despite me having Manny winning a clear decision, I knew the fight was up for grabs in the decision especially because it was in Australia. However when i heard the 117 -111 score first and it appeared to be a unanimous decision, I was pretty certain Manny must've won. LOL
I agree, he looked shithouse in the 9th and Manny should have finished him... but he didn't, and he let Jeff back into the fight. Ouch.
Say what you will, but Horn beasted the first 8 rounds.
Threw 50 more, land 90 less. You saying he threw more, but then stats don't matter? Bro.No I mean throw punches because while I was exaggerating about twice as many, horn clearly threw more and throwing percentages out there doesn't paint the whole picture. Should've been a tko in the 9th or 10th but pac thought he was safe after the 9th and looked what happened.
It's funny now because i'm looking through my scorecard and I had it 5-5 tied after 10 rounds. I didn't score the 9th round 10-8 for Pacquiao but acknowledged it very well could've. I didn't score the 11th and 12th rounds, but I think those could've went either way.
Now admittedly i was scoring my card giving Horn the benefit of the doubt, but I guess I could see how Horn won that fight. LOL
Maybe it wasn't a robbery after all. I need to go back and score the 11th and 12th round.
Larry Holmes flabby and sick Manny vs someone that nobody knew was gonna make Boxing great again???Boxing had a chance to be relevant again but no one watching this result is going to become fans of the sport. Boxing needs to die asap

This was the first time a live boxing fight featuring a big name, and yes Pacman is still a big name, was broadcast on free television in as long as I can remember. It was a chance to showcase the sport, but instead the sport's corruption reared its ugly head
I love these headbutts (some unintentional) and elbows in the clinch (mostly intentional) watching the replay.
You hear a lot about how impressed they are that Horn isn't scared of Manny, so maybe he gets points for that? I'm really thinking they just want the belt away from M-Pac.
Those headlocks by Horn had me expecting a Bulldog followup.
Threw 50 more, land 90 less. You saying he threw more, but then stats don't matter? Bro.
Horn dog won, can't change that, but he shouldn't have. I would ask for receipts on your belief that Horn won legit, but they all point toward Pacquiao, so...
Oh, I got you now, Broseph. Couldn't tell by sentence structure and all, my bad, Brosky.Bro. I wrote I thought pac got robbed what are you going on about.
I didn't say stats matter I said percentages don't paint the whole picture. The more punches thrown by horn show he was the aggressor. Do you get me now bro?
Oh, I got you now, Broseph. Couldn't tell by sentence structure and all, my bad, Brosky.
Horn was aggressive as hell, though. In the dirtiest ways available, he was definitely aggressive, Brotato chip.
