Cheap Arse Gaffer |Europe| With Or Without EU

Looks like a solid deal, but hows the game and dlc?

It was a bit ropey and repetitive at launch, but with the patches and DLC it's a really solid open world game.

I'd actually say it's the best time to be going in blind, and a far better game than reviews would lead you to think.

Great story, nice characters, beautiful art direction, amazing soundtrack, relevant politics that no AAA game has never really done, really engaging gunplay and driving.

The worst thing is the repetitive nature of the game loop, but if you're more interested in story and audio and visuals, this is a really great game for you.

Thanks for the responses! Would only be getting it for the deluxe edition, to be honest (no record player in the house). Might wait abit as I have plenty left to play.

Argos has Rise of The Tomb Raider for £20.49

i think it's the regular case edition and it's out of stock anywhere around me which is sods law, anyone know if there are any stores online selling this edition and not the artbook edition?

is Yakuza Kiwami getting a digital release? I know most do but I am surprised it isn't up for pre order already. thx

i think all ps4 games or atleast most are supposed to, only thing is tho deepsilver will probably charge you £40 for yakuza when it's £25 on disc

Not exactly 100% gaming related, but between the Amazon, Argos, and Halfords who do you think has the best return policy? I'm thinking of buying a gopro and it's the same price at all 3.

Amazon would be the least effort as you wouldn't have to go to a physical store. In terms of policy though, all should be equal provided you have the receipt and haven't wrecked the item.

You can do a a return by post with wither Argos or Halfords too - if anything, these two are actually better than Amazon as a result, as they have a returns route that doesn't involve postage charges.

For a return that's not due to a fault, Amazon and Argos both allow up to 30 days from purchase; it's slightly less with Halfords, at 28 days.

I collected this in store last night, it was smashed to bits. I got a refund at the till and ordered to have another copy delivered to my home. I've never seen a case so badly damaged before.

Ah, my FFXII TGC order shipped today, so multiple pre-orders in one order don't do stupid things! Think SE must have sent out the stock late as I think Simply aren't shipping until today either.

I got an sms this morning from simply, that FFXII (normal+ t-shirt) has been sent today.

Amusingly, ebuyer.com are having a single-day sale, too.

They're calling it "Optimus day".

Either way, might be a decent point of comparison for anything techy.

Edit: On Amazon, there's a 4TB external HD for £100, which doesn't seem too bad. Am I missing something?

Edit2: 20% off everything in the Warehouse again.

Cod Infinite Warfare is £7.99! In the Amazon Prime sale. They also have Halo Wars 2 for £24.49.
Worth getting COD at that price for the campaign?

I seem to recall Zavvi having some rip-off sale with a dodgy name last year as well, so worth keeping an eye on tomorrow if anyone still shops there - I don't see them mentioned much these days

Just noticed that buried in amongst the deals is a code for the Hot Wheels expansion for Forza Horizon 3 for about a tenner, which I *think* is the first time it's been discounted.

Edit: Not that I seem to actually be able to get it to let me place a purchase.
