I hope this is more of a setup of Thanos and his own minions because that's what's lacking in these films. His side. I don't know the comics, but that image above with Ironman's head in that woman's hands sort of made me think this.

Feige said a while back that Thanos is essentially the main character of Infinity War, so I think you'll get what you're hoping for.

i would like to see strange have to do this in Avengers 4 for some reason - trade pieces if himself for power

I think a good idea would be to do a standalone Squadron Supreme/Sinister movie set in another universe, then a Miss America movie about her portal jumping to escape the incursions, then a movie for the last of the incursions/Avengers vs Squadron/Secret Wars.

I don't think they do that because I don't think they want the audience to think there is an exit point where they can stop supporting these films. People would question too much the future of the MCU if they did a title like that.

Plus it implies "We're done!" which is the exact opposite of what they want audiences to feel like.

I'd say all the OG Avengers are likely to get killed. Maybe Hawkeye or Widow survives to train the next generation of Avengers, but it'd be a powerful impact for the entire original team to make a final sacrifice play together to stop Thanos, leaving behind all the new heroes.

I just really want to see the Illuminati on film. They'd have to tweak it, of course, lineup wise. But still.

You've got Stark, Strange, T'Challa, and Namor for sure. I'm just not sure who should round it out. Banner? Pym? I think it'd be cool to get someone cosmic in there, to fill Black Bolt's shoes, but I just can't think of anyone who'd fit the bill. Maybe Mar-Vell but, like, he may not even exist in the MCU.
