10 years of "Stronger."

10 years since the release of this masterpiece.

A highlight of Graduation, "Stronger" is one of the best pop songs Kanye West has ever made. The stories behind this song's production are insane too. Kanye recorded this song with 8 audio engineers, 11 mix engineers, and ended up with close to 50 different versions of this track. Kanye ended up getting Timbaland in the studio because the drums weren't sounding the way he envisioned, a conclusion he reached after mixing "Stronger" 75 times and still feeling dissatisfied with the drums. Besides the technical side of this song's creation, this was the first collaboration between Kanye and Daft Punk, a relationship that ended up blessing the world with "On Sight" and "Black Skinhead." Here's the three of them performing at the Grammys. Fuck, even the way he intro's the song during his live songs is so fucking dope. The best one though has to be his Coachella performance of it (around the 25 minute mark).

I first heard "Stronger" at a dorky middle school dance. That song changed my life because it introduced me to Daft Punk and "Alive 2007" and basically helped me get into music in the first place. I consider it a top 10 track of his discography, because it's a damn flawless blend of techno, hip-hop, and pop sensibility that's catchy as hell. It's a perfect club banger. So, talk about your memories with this song.

Top 10 Kanye songs: Runaway, On Sight, Blood on The Leaves, Street Lights, Stronger, Flashing Lights, Touch The Sky, Hey Mama, Roses, Lost in The World

I was...7 or 8 when I first heard it, was one of my favorite Yeezy songs, still is

Like the beat better than the og Daft Punk song

Stronger is such a banger. I remember that song getting so hot so quickly, a DJ on a local alternative rock station in Boston (WFNX) said "I know this is not the kind of music you're used to hearing on this station...but you have to hear this song". That was a cool moment as a huge Kanye fan.

Kanye's flow on this track is so fucking bland.

The song sucks. Daft Punk original for me.

Like, he took an interesting song and made it boring.

But that's just what he does, I guess.

This is one of those songs that just defines 2007 for me. When I hear it or see that bear on the cover, it's like an instant time portal.

I knew Harder Better Faster Stronger back then so I was really surprised when I heard it on the radio for the first time. I remember kind of resenting it at the time but it really grew on me and now I love it. It's basically the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Kanye for me. The whole album is great.

There's only one "Stronger" that matters, and it's Britney's.

See, what we're not gonna do is invade a thread celebrating one of the best singles from the 21st century's most influential artist and derail it to talk about someone who hasn't been relevant since they shaved their head.

Anyways, I think I might relisten to Graduation today to celebrate. Not my favorite Ye album but it's got some great bangers on there. Good Life, Flashing Lights, Can't Tell Me Nothing.

Graduation is on the lower-tier of Kanye albums for me (in before lists) but this song is one of Kanye's best singles.
I remember this era of my life vividly and Stronger was a big part of the soundtrack to me lurking Hypebeast and trying to cop the most exclusive Nike SB Dunks.

I used to play Interstella 5555 on the monitor display when I worked at CompUSA.

A coworker asked if the music playing on the monitors was ripping off Kanye West.

All I could respond with was a hearty laugh and "What?"

Barry Bonds and Drunk & Hot girls are yucky

I wanted Drunk & Hot Girks to be better because Mos Def is one of mt faves but uh...nah
