CSI enhance was topped a bit ago by Lethal Weapon.
enhanced in and got a facial recognition off of a Christmas tree ornament about 20~ feet from the surveillance camera with the guy maybe feet away from the tree.

I remember when I used to love watching CSI and New York came out in the UK on my Birthday. Hated that birthday.
I don't know if it was worse than this, but another procedural show (can't remember which one) had an incredibly stupid episode where some Columbine-inspired teen or something had hidden an important piece of evidence on his Xbox hard drive and the team had to beat the game to unlock the document. None of them can do it until they turn to see one of the girls on the team watching intently from the doorway and mimicking controller motions with her hand, so they let her try and she burns through it until she unlocks a door in the game that reveals a literal picture of the document they need.

I really enjoyed season 5 but that one the one thing that felt really dumb to me. It's clear they had written themselves into a corner and that was their easy way out of the situation and it's made even more apparent when it's never brought up again.

If this show is a comedy, this is one of the best

For a show with some terrible scenes, I think the final scene of the show where they are in the garage playing music like a rock band right after a funeral was worse, especially since that was their send-off!
