Dumbest scene in TV History?

How+did+he+know+he+s+experienced_835d5e_4959965.gif

The best thing about this is that while Dexter is out in the open his Imaginary Ghost Dad is trying to hide.

On the topic of Scott Buck, I'm currently watching Iron Fist...

To prove Danny's true identity, his old friend sends him a bag of M&Ms to the mental hospital where he's been held - which he sends back, sans-Brown M&Ms. Because this was the easiest possible way to communicate that fact, apparently.

the thing about Dexter is that even with it being awful I'm almost inclined to recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone just because I feel like that last episode is something everyone should watch once in their life. it's so amazingly awful it's unbelievable. to get to that point though you've got to slog through hours and hours of fucking garbage so I can never actually recommend it. that last episode though, it's literal perfection in its imperfection.

As laughably bad as it gets at the end it doesn't cancel out of the greatness of the first four seasons for me.

There's another police procedural where, to solve the crime, they need to play a Grand Theft Auto clone to figure out what the criminal's next move will be. Can't remember the show name, though.

I submit this one :

The Flash 2x18 Barry Gives Zoom His Speed

this was soooooooooooo stupid.... for those who don't watch... right before that, zoom had an hostage, and the condition to release him was that flash give him his speed.... they set up a meeting...

Aaaaand zoom just gave the hostage back, he's alone against a lot of people in the room, some of them have powers, and flash is supposed to be faster than zoom at this moment.... but since they're an honorable bunch, they just give him flash's speed, without trying anything

Bad TV scenes? Mmmm, whatcha say?

so THAT where it comes from! Thank you for this!

anyway, lots of amazing scene in this scene, especially the dog with the heart!

But I liked Lundy and I thought they were a good couple. Is it just because he's an older guy? I mean he's a fit, handsome, successful, and extremely intelligent older guy. Not that strange a woman in her late 20s would be interested. Not really. Or is it just cheesy scenes? Been a while to be honest.
Nothing to do with age. The scenes they had were just so awkward every single time.

Dexter the Thread. For those of you that haven't watched the show but want to, just watch the first four seasons. You may be tempted to watch more, but trust me, don't.

I'm probably never going to watch Dexter because I thought the premise and brief clips I've seen looked kind of lame. That said, can I just watch the final episode to get why it is so terrible, or will it be lost on me because I hadn't watched the earlier seasons and been a fan?

Watch the first 4 seasons. They're genuinely entertaining. The years long decline in quality finally comes to a head in the finale. You really need to watch the rest to "get it."

The actress died in between seasons, it was the best they could do without the whole plotline just getting dropped offscreen. I give it a pass.

I mean I know...but pretty soon after that she dies off-screen minutes later, I don't think we needed one final scene where they basically argue about some random innocuous thing.

It seems like a really short-sighted decision that feels super goofy in retrospect (thanks in part to that infamous piece of special effects failure).

one day I will subject myself to watching all of Dexter, I think I only saw up to the start of the
incest
, so season 6 or something?

I know I saw all of John Lithgow's season whichever that was and stopped shortly after.

edit: in fact I'm going to start today, thanks thread.

but that's awesome.

I also remember the Gabby Gifford newscast/montage to be terrible in The Newsroom.

Edit: video with more Coldplay!

Edit: I also forgot that Dev Patel was a conspiracy nut who believed in Big Foot before they turned him into Edward Snowden where he had to flee the country.

God, this dumbass show.

LMAO

also, LMAO @ the youtube comments saying stuff like "this is the greatest scene in television", "it's brilliant" and so on.

This is my favourite

The acting is top notch and really makes the scene believable.

QUÉ HAAAAACES BESAAAAAAANDO A LA LISIAAAAAADAAAAAAAA

Arrow

Felicity, by breaking up with Oliver, triumphs over paralysis.

Arrow and Flash are pretty famous for their emotional rollercoaster stuff

"I love you sooooo much but I think it's time to take a break"

That One Tree Hill dog-eats-heart scene tho. The best

This is the greatest thing I've ever seen. They got Dipshit Dave to deliver a human heart in a totally unsealed box full of ice cubes, there's a dog in the fucking hospital for some reason, nobody thinks to just pick up the heart, the owner doesn't even react to her dog running away, and that goddamn soap opera face at the end is incredible. How do you give an actor the right direction to make a perfect "a dog just took your heart, bro" face?

Someone needs to make this into one of those black and white infomercial "There's got to be a better way!" videos. "Don't you hate it when you trip over a dog's leash trying to deliver your unsealed boxes full of human organs? Now there's a solution!"

Why was he even bringing the heart out when the patient was still being wheeled out of his room? In case he wanted to give it a quick once over before it went in his chest?
