For me it was a real case of struggling to make yourself like a game because of it's critical reception rather than anything you're personally getting out of it. Never really made that mistake again.

I'm not saying that it's smart for Okami HD to skip the Switch, but you just made an argument for why they may not have that version ready. IIRC, the PS3 version supported Move controllers. I could see them implementing that as an option for the Switch if it came to the platform later on.

I know I'll be buying this on Xbox One and possibly PS4 just to support the damn game. If it comes to Switch I'll gladly buy it again there. Okami is right near the top of my "favorite games of all time" list.

That's generally what happens with journalists who report lots of rumours/leaks. They earn reputations, good or bad, depending on how accurate they are. Jason Schrier, for example, is trusted because he's been right a hell of a lot of times.
