Chris fights gods with a handgun. Don't think too hard about this stuff.Dante getting man handled by Jedah makes no sense to me.
Then again this is probably "just a random Tuesday" mode Dante considering he didn't even use DT.

All I'm saying is I don't see why people feel the need to put up with modern Capcom's garbage right now, when there are more amazing fighting games being released than ever. There are tons of underplayed and underappreciated games that never got their due, and but this game, which damn near EVERYONE agrees is disappointing in some regard, seems to get a free pass just because of who made it.
KoFXIV plays great and had an astounding launch roster considering all of the characters were made from scratch, but barely anyone's playing that. There's more great anime games than I can count, but they'll never be popular.
But this, which outside of story mode seems to have had the bare minimum amount of money put into it, is getting all the hype. To me, it seems incredibly unfair.

Man Dante beat a cosmic entity in the first game and then again in DMC2.Jedah is like cosmic entity, what are you talking about?
I just think people give Capcom as pass because of their history and they're just set in their ways. They're so used to only playing SF and Marvel games because that's basically all there was to play competitively for 2D fighters that they'll stick with them even if there are problems with the new games and there's lots of great games as competition.

I don't think it's any conspiracy. All of those people saying Capcom paid off pro players to shill for them are ludicrous.

At least everything is on the table now.
It's a matter of execution now and how the game plays day 1.
Looks like DLC for Capcom side is going to be Sigma, Lady and Monster Hunter.
Man Dante beat a cosmic entity in the first game and then again in DMC2.
MVCI is just a random Tuesday for him hence why he didn't even use DT yet for any fights. And this is also lowest power level Dante from DMC3.
Casually it's going to do terrible for sure, but it'll probably end up right before SFV at EVO with thousands of people playing it. It'll have tons of support in the FGC.
Dafuq? Character loyalty, liking a playstyle, liking aesthetics, etc.; there's a million reasons why people don't jump ship if a character gets nerfed. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, don't be obtuse.Yup.
It's the same reason why someone will stick to the same character to main even if they get nerfed.
Yeah I am thinking the "all new" character thing for DLC might now apply anymore.

I thought the same thing.
Morrigan could beat Dante tbh.

To be fair, they were honest about it in SFV.Been saying that for ages.
Capcom is the company that would say all new and then have a veteran show up in DLC. "We meant all new to this game. We didn't lie"
Easily seduced? Where are you getting this lore from? Dante beat a succubus in DMC3 and turned her into a guitar.Well to be fair, she's a succubus, and Dante is supposed to be easily seduced, no? isn't that why that monster with the girly lures worked on Dante but not on Nero?
No she would not.

It was y'all that defined all-new, not Capcom, remember that. Word to the "all-new" 2018 Honda Civic.

Ah yes, my favorite character, Monster Hunter Guy.At least everything is on the table now.

Point being, it's stupid reasoning for why people still like Capcom, ignorant of contextual factors besides "they probably grew up with it."I think we're talking different levels of dedication. When you've been playing a character for more than a decade, you're beyond the liking aesthetics level.
In that sense, I think we have a different understanding on what character loyalty actually means.
Aside from the succubus part (that wouldn't work on Dante), Morrigan is like the most powerful DS character that's why they split her soul into Lilith.
I also saw one interesting scene in Valkanda between Ryu, The Hulk, and Black Panther, the latter of which holds an Infinity Stone. They're joined by a monster hunter in what looks like a Rathalos armor set. The character was part of a roster leak earlier in the year, but when I asked Capcom about her potential inclusion as DLC, they said they had nothing to announce.
No Dante was playing all along in that scene. He even says " you can't hide that smell" after he dodges almost getting eaten.Well to be fair, she's a succubus, and Dante is supposed to be easily seduced, no? isn't that why that monster with the girly lures worked on Dante but not on Nero?
Which is funny because Superman was exactly how Capcom actually described Dante in DMC4 and being written into a corner power level wise. Hence why we got a new protagonist in DMC4.Dante don't fall for succubus stuff. In dmc4 with the frog thing he was joking around. If you'll look at the cutscene he Dodges every attempt to grab him
Dante is incredibly powerful, but he's realistically not handling Morrigan. Morrigan is like Capcoms Superman in terms of power.
Chris and Chun Li look better. I can't see Dante. Can't watch at the moment. Any visual improvements?

Monster Hunter coming with Rathalos armors is pretty much confirmed.
Been saying they should get DMC characters in a new DS game. Only way such a game ever gets made anyway. They should make DMC x DS. Make it canon to both universes.
Yeah. It's like SFIV
