Final Fantasy 15 - Windows Version Trailer (PC)

Do you think a I5 6400 with a GTX 960 would run this? The frame pacing on the base PS4 got on my nerves and couldn't enjoy it.

It's crazy to me how focused on porting to PC SE has been with their FF series. Practically the whole series is on there, and they're definitely aiming to do so. Such a turnaround. In fact, with Bayo, Vanquish, Sonic, and others, it seems like Japanese publishers are in the midsts of a veritable PC goldrush.

Looks great, I'm just hoping it's a decent port. I'm currently and will probably still be using my GTX760 and with a few exceptions I've had no problem beating the PS4 in terms of performance, I just want to run it same as PS4 but without the terrible frame pacing issues that regularly occur.

Mhh I don't know if I'll double dip but all of DLCs aren't available yet so maybe few surprises are awaiting us. And I can't wait to see the game to be modded.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I'm not gonna be buying this. The thought of going through that God awful story again is just too off-putting

A shame because I did dig the combat and the game looks nice at times.

From where did this info come?

From SE's description

I don't plan on getting it either. Nothing surprising about it.

It looks pretty good! Guess there's gonna be mods that will make the game more interessting/Better... Since the original wasn't that great

I hope with all these Nvidia partnership, SLI support will be at least decent.

I never digged that much into HDR related settings, but I guess the "High Precision 3D Target" and "FP16 backbuffer" boxes have to do with it. Something about color reproduction fidelity I suppose?

WHAT!! a 1080TI ? lmao...
From the text above, I assume it's the recommended specs for UHD rendering.

ohhh, ohhh that's ok then.

Key visual for FFXV:WE.

Also, their statements regarding DLC included in this version of the game makes me think they are going ahead with the idea of paid DLC not included in the Season Pass (which will end up being the content that got most votes during the June poll, most likely).

With that facial hair, he must be Jon Snow.

"Supporting high-resolution options and compatible with native 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution and HDR 10. Graphical options can also be configured to support up to 8K."

Good to see HDR support also. Can't wait!

So is this game actually any good or what?

Heavily flawed, but sitting on an 81% metacritic score, so obviously enough things were done right to keep its general opinion afloat.

It's very enjoyable. Best advice is to just play the game and do not hinge your enjoyment on other's opinions. Least of which GAF's, which is very unfavorable to this game for what I can only assume are typical fanboy reasons.

In my experience, if you're a hardcore FF fan, your chances of loving/hating it are about equal. Otherwise, you'll probably just enjoy yourself.

Don't listen to the haters. It is a really good game. There are parts of it that are really rough, and episode DLC are a really dick move("we will cut this part of the story for now, you can enjoy it later if you pay extra of course"), but to balance it out other parts are amazing (animations and overall attention to details, or secret dungeon which is as rewarding as frustrating, but most important - so unique).

It definitely does not deserve the low praise it got. It's kinda funny that for Persona 5 people were willing to turn a blind eye for many of it's flaws and describe is as jrpg diamond, but for FF15 they were picking on everything, even very small things, just to throw something at it.

Overall it has a lot of problems, but it is receiving treatment similar to The Witcher 3, where the developers are constantly pushing new updates, resolving some issues and making the experience better overall (sometimes for a price - still miss you in my party, Aranea)

For me the worst part is that when playing you have the feeling, that it could have been something so much better if given more time. And it's a shame that it didn't get it.

I can't wait until people play chapter 13, I think it's been patched now but it was single handedly my worst gaming experience in my life when I played that

No reaction when stepping on the grass still except those huge plants?

Dissapointing

In FINAL FANTASY XV's vast open world, massive portions of land are covered by grass and other foliage. To enhance these areas NVIDIA Turf Effects have been integrated, turning tufts of boot-high grass into fields of knee-high, dynamic grass that sways in the wind and is accurately shadowed by VXAO. Furthermore, as players, enemies, animals and other NPCs move through the grass, individual pieces of the tessellated greenery will bend and flatten, leaving visible trails that players can follow when in pursuit of a fleeing foe. This further increases immersion and visual fidelity, creating dynamic areas that react realistically to your actions.

There will be.
