In case anyone still wasn't sure on the auto blocking thing, here we see Iron Man being kept in block stun by Arthur's Goddess Bracelet super, and Arthur active switches to Ryu and Ryu does overhead while Iron Man is blocking the super.
Anybody know what are the inputs/uses for Iron Man's new Repulsor Ray? X/Iron Man is definitely a team I'm looking into using especially since from interviews apparently Iron Man is more of a zoner in this game as opposed to being a weird mishmash of playstyles.

This is how I feel as well. Most of my Marvel 2/3s of my Marvel 3 team are missing (Phoenix Wright, Dante, Wesker) and Monster Hunter, the only character I was looking forward to isn't gonna be in at launch, I'm not a comic book/super hero fan in anyway at all, so I always ignore the Marvel half of the roster because I am stupidly biased. I'll probably play Zero/Dante or like Morrigan/Dante.

Gamora, Jedah, Nemesis, and Chris are the only ones I really care to play on this roster so it'll be between those four who gets put into my two mains.
I'm feeling it'll probably be Gamora and Nemesis. I'd prefer and all female team but I didn't care for Marvel, and Chun & Morrigan I've never liked either.

I'm going to use Jedah and Haggar and maybe Hulk and Gamora but for sure Jedah.
Yay! Bothers me slightly less. Still not as many as she should have and they seem to be flying away rather than staying for some reason. Also the bats are tiny and less defined. It's still lacking visually compared to the Marvel 3 version. Could they not render more 2D bats in place?

The icons on top of the characters are new. The tagged one has a new switch icon, while the Ryu silhouette is gone from offscreen characters and replaced with just a generic one.

She's Scottish, actually.
She supposed to be Scottish but it's not a very good accent in this game.
I'd expect a voice change for Dormammu. He's now voiced by Phil LaMarr in Avengers Assemble.

Iron Man's theme sounds almost exactly like the Brian Tyler composed theme, which is one of the few Phase 2 OSTs that was really good.

If the Marvel character picks that are more explicitly "MCU" in this roster could maintain most of their movie themes it'd make the loss of their signature MvC themes a little less harsh (though still a net loss). It makes me sad that Ant-Man and Star-Lord aren't in the roster though, since I think both characters had some of the best "themes" in the MCU, even if it isn't exactly the highest bar.

Agreed. While Phil LaMarr is more than acceptable, Michael T. Weiss was godly as Dormammu (he's tied with Jonathan Adams for my favorite Dormammu VA).
