Assassins Creed and Final Fantasy XV collaboration announced (in-game playable event)

What game should Final Fantasy XV partner with next?

You do your absolute best to persuade everyone to buy Fire Emblem Warriors, a game that I personally do not like at all (and I love Fire Emblem), and yet you come to these threads to vent your frustration on a video game that can easily be ignored???

Dude.

???
I legitimately don't understand what you're trying to say. Do you think I shouldn't say anything that isn't the same as your opinion ?
I don't even get why you're all coming at me. A ton of people in this threads find it dumb. I read a news, I don't like it for x reason, I explain why and that's it. Not breaking any rules here.

Absurd crossovers aren't exactly out of the norm for FF now, XIII...2? had the Mass Effect armor in it.

FFXIV had a Yokai-Watch crossover where you could get two different Whisper mounts and weapons with designs based on the Yokai and Yokai minions. And upon obtaining the second Whisper mount (quite a huge grind) the Level 5 CEO (He's the one you took the quest from) yells at the director of FFXIV over how hard the first set of Savage raids in Heavensward were.

If you told me three years ago that this game would have a collaboration with AC in the form of parkour mechanics and costumes I'd have laughed, but here we are.

Would honestly trade that shitty Yokai Watch collab for this one.

In that case it seems like it. I don't think AC Origins is getting any FFXV stuff ? It's just an AC event in FFXV.

Lmao, chill a bit, I don't like how they're handling cross-promotions and it's in my right to tell why and how I don't like it. You don't come in a thread solely for positive reactions. I've seen news, I react to them. I never said that you can't enjoy them or whatever, I'm not your dad. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Considering your argument about why do you dislike this (seeing your last post) I think Im more chill than you, but of course you're free to post whatever.

This actually looks really well made, wtf?

I don't even know how to feel. Please go make a new game already. I love FFXV, can't wait for the PC version, but let it go.

You gotta live a pretty charmed life if this is on your list of complaints in life.

Looks fun, will buy if well reviewed.

It's free :D

If you DL the DLC when it releases and change the system date of the PS4 to before the deadline of the event, can you play it after it ends?

No it doesn't. Because not only have they been and continue to fix issues with the game.

This is optional content you can choose to engage in. And people are still engaging with this game. So they continue to make such things.

That isn't a problem. That literally isn't a problem

This isn't turning the game into anything,You can just play the base game. And they are still working on it. Also the game is getting mod support so your statement makes less sense.

Also do you think video games just magically get developer, you don't know if they are making another XV game. That shit would take time, why not release content updates until such a game is release. You literally know nothing about the development cycle or anything behind the scenes are you are making baseless assumptions about that.

Played the base game at launch at the post-Chapter 9 content was boderline Early Access and nonsensical. Square Enix certainly didn't have an issue pumping out a FFXIII sequel in two years time and while FFXV a whole different beast in terms of game design, taking away precious resources to develop stuff like this is maddening. They have good ideas with FFXV and its engine, so I'd rather them reuse those assets for a game worthy of them rather than stretch out mess that was the end product.

Wouldn't this shit all make more sense in XIV?
XIV's team is busy working on the next patch (It should be out late September/Early October) and they're also working on a FFXV crossover event.

Kotaku interview with Yoshida said:
On the inevitable Final Fantasy XV crossover:

Yoshida: Plans for these are moving forward. The Final Fantasy XV team has settled down on their end. We feel that it's going to be rather hefty in volume in terms of this crossover. Once we are able to get some visual references, some graphics available, and when we decide on timing, we'll make sure to make an official announcement.

I hope everyone realizes that this isn't the first game to do this.

MGS4 has an Altair outfit for Snake
Ezio was a playable character in SoulCalibur V
FFXIII-2 had an Ezio costume from Revelations
LBP2 had Assassin's Creed outfits
TF2 had Assassin's Creed items

FFXV is just being superfluous with the crossover.

This is insane(ly good)!!!!

It actually looks like they spent a lot of time on this and it looks really interesting. Gonna do the Moogle Festival now :P

Pretty cool stuff. I love collabs like this.

What I hate is being constantly reminded that FFXV exists and that I absolutely need to be aware of it, even when I'm playing completely unrelated games. As long as their cross-promotion stuff stays in their game, I'm fine.

Jesus Christ.

Now I need to get that Dream Egg.

If you love FFXV, it is best for your sanity to put Lord Kano on Ignore. I did it long ago. Sadly those who quote his post let me see what he has to say in every thread. Oh well....
