I'm still half hoping that due to it having a 2D map in the corner that there will be an option to play it with 2D graphics also. Obviously, that would depend on many things including the resolution being high enough. It probably won't happen but I'm going to carry on hoping that the assets for the map will also have at least a 1080p version in the game.

Actually what I would love is a rotatable camera as in games like Xenogears and Wild ARMs 2. But with the 2D map in the corner I guess it won't happen.

Adventures of Mana was 60FPS on Vita, so I assume this will be too. At least on PS4 anyway.

probably but depends on how half ass (or not) the port is, assuming they started with the SD1 remake engine as a base. this could really shine on PC if done right

The character models werent the problem.

It was the dull colored lifeless world in the trailer.

Those off camera pics of the actual game are restoring my faith tho.

Idk. The SFC original has some amazing art and sprite work. SD3 surpasses it with the art direction, but SoM still looks great.

Squaresoft did so many amazing looking SNES games late into its life that it's easy to forget that Secret of Mana was in 1993. For context, the last game they released outside of Japan at that time was Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.

It looks like the running speed is a bit slower than in the original (unless that's walking), but indeed it looks amazing.
