Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Ah not sure I should get this, absolutely hate the changes that deviate from D1 (save improvements to fixes asked for in that game), love the GAF Destiny community but not sure thats enough to play these rollercoaster games with Bungie again.

The game will recognize you played destiny 1 before based on your account. So you dont need to import to get rewards. You will get them even if you make a new char.

That said, if you import, you cant customize the char.

So stoked still haven't decided what class yet. Anyone see movement on Best Buy side? No movement here yet, they'll have to 1 day ship it for Wednesday.

I started with Hunter, but I think I may do the same. Really feel like Titans are the most balanced this time around and I felt too squishy during the beta as a hunter.

Will eventually make all three guardians, but yeah I think I'll start a titan at first too
 
Quick where should I buy a digital version (probably LE) for pre order bonuses and such? Just wondering if I'm missing any deals or anything thanks

I believe our characters have already been imported. Tomorrow you will have the option to keep or delete them.

Speaking about importing characters. My titan is ugly as fuck. I gave him red horns. lol
But he is my first born guardian so i'll keep him. And all titan subclasses seem fun.
 
Can't decide which class I should level with first. I mained a hunter in D1, but I feel like they're sort of useless now in terms of raid utility. I guess there's still a lot of abilities we haven't seen yet, but I'm tempted to mix it up for my first character this time around.

There were well-documented issues engine-side on Destiny, has the way Destiny 2’s been made allowed for easier iteration and content updates?

We’ve made a bunch of improvements as far as iteration and workflow and pipelines go - we’ve made it so we’ve got a better way of providing content.

I can’t go into many plans about post-launch content, but we’ve announced a Season Pass and we have plans for content and where we’re headed and we think we can deliver a good stream of content for players once the game is done.

There’ll be patches, there’ll be events, there’ll be expansions. I don’t want to say that the problem is solved, but I think we’ve made some positive steps in the right direction.

We know our players and fanbase want as much content as we can make, as fast as we can make it, and we’re going to do our best to try and live up to some of those expectations.

I like Mark - it'd be so easy for a dev to say 'yh yh we sorted it, don't worry, it's all fine. Buy our game!' but he's being honest about the content drought issues and admitting that there is an issue and Bungie is doing what it can to fix it... even if it takes more than a quick wave of the magic wand to do so
 
Are the PVP maps going to be in all game modes or will it be like Destiny 1 where certain maps are only in certain playlists - with only 8 base maps it's a bit worrying.

Isnt nightstalker in this? That subclass was great support.
 
I think I'm sticking with my limited edition pre-order over the collector's edition. That bag and solar blanket are just junk, and with the limited edition, I'll get Cayde-6 (according to my online GameStop order).
 


Progenitor is looking for more players on Xbox One. We're a laid back clan that's been around since the early days of Destiny and cleared pretty much everything D1 had to offer. We'll be focusing primarily on PvE but we'll take players of all kinds. With the benefits of being in a clan in D2 being so prominent, were looking for anyone that can hold their own in the Destiny, is generally a decent person and wants to play D2 for an extended period of time.

I can't be too upset though... The original launch date I wouldn't have been able to take off... So by moving it up a few days I'll at least get to enjoy the launch with my buddies.

That free Destiny 2 theme from the Live.Playstation thing isn't great, but hype get means I'm using anyways lol
 
bringing over my Hunter from D1...gonna stick with him as long as they'll allow...

since we can't make any appearance changes i'm debating keep my other 2 characters or going fresh...
 
In for the PS4 version (gifted to me) and the PC version next month. So ready to jump back in once more with friends!
 
Went to two Targets this morning on the hunt for a single box of Destiny 2 Poptarts. Neither store had them.

One day that Target Sparrow will be mine...
