Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Hype through the roof.
11 hours to go for me, pre loading now.

I'm tossing up between titan or warlock first. My group is hunter heavy, and they prefer titans as secondary, so I figure warlock is a good choice. But I love my titan.
 
Hmmm, thinking of loading up Destiny and practicing bumper jumper before D2 is out. I've tried before but other games always change me back. This time though, don't think I'll be playing anything bar Destiny 2 for a while.

Hoping to get a few hours of sleep after work tomorrow and play all night. Really wish I would have taken a few days off to play. Oh well, there will be plenty of time to play. Think I'm going to start with a Hunter again.

TV was tied up, so without thinking I used the amazon games library link to "redeem at Playstion.com." Now it shows up in my Games on the Sony site, it shows up in purchased items on my PS4, but there's no option to download. Dammit.

Agreed. Most Destiny threads have a very vocal anti-Destiny presence that kind of derails things, but the OT threads are all love and excitement...well, at least initially. Also, seeing others feel the same way makes me feel like less of a weirdo for being a grown-ass man so hyped for a video game, lol.

This seems really weird. Did you go to the store on your ps and see if there's a download button? Or on your phone?

I've got Wednesday to play then I have to take off for a few days on vacation (woe is me lake house vacation). But I'm taking a couple days off after my vacation for a little post-vacation vacation. I'll be avoiding the thread, except to LFG, until I've caught up.

I really hope there is a new raid like crota so my warlock doesn't feel useless during jumping sections... Plus the Tues. night speed runs were a blast and allowed me to finish it up in less than an hour so I got enough sleep for work the next morning, lol.

I have way better control over a Warlock jump than any other. Give me jumping puzzles and I will rock them.

Though, how can one like myself join a clan? I have never joined any clan or any group whatsoever throughout my entire gaming career so I am a bit lost here, lol.

PS4, by the way, PSN LaughingBanana. Can someone teach me a noob-friendly way to join clan or to do activities together with people? Thanks :)

Destiny 2 is finally upon us, but I need to take a minute to plug DGAF, GAF’s Destiny community. For a lot of us, this is OT45. That’s right, Destiny went through 44 OTs and the only thing that slowed us down was Discord (quote the OT to get a invitation to the DGAF server, btw. Discord details here). I hope that won't be intimidating to new folks, because it’s meant as an invitation to a huge and dedicated community. We have real legends who've been among the first flawless raiders and we’ve got Trials champions. We’ve got scrubs and we’ve got carries. We’ve got casuals and we’ve got completionists. We’ve been here through content drops and content droughts, through nerfs and buffs for three years.

The people you may call veterans here each started out new in this community. So if you’re new or old, don’t worry about clans or cliques. This is one big community. If you see someone forming a fire team, then volunteer! Want guns for a challenge or just some company to shoot the Darkness errr… breeze, then put up your own call to arms. DGAF will answer the call.

Hype hitting me super hard right now, really want to check out that soundtrack but I'll hold off. I've had that main menu theme on a loop though.
