Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

So people are going to be able to play soon?

Looks like I'm leaving the internet then. Just gonna go load up my PS4 and play some Destiny 1 to say my goodbyes :)

In the most recent Bungie podcast, they've said that the PC version is still being optimized.

MSAA, for instance, didn't work really at all in the beta. For my computer, it made AA worse.

Playing the beta really fixed all of my "artificial wait" fears. It was clear they were chasing a perfect port, and also that it wasn't quite there yet.

More optimisation? good lord, the Beta ran like lightning. I was highly impressed.

My boat exactly. I'll likely transfer my PS4 data to my new Pro from the D2 bundle I get tonight then go to bed and just play after. Gonna be a long day. :(

Used to be with you – only played PvP for Banner/Trials and lightly during droughts – but the change to 4vs4 and the new defusal game mode had me loving PvP way more in the beta. PvE content obviously takes priority, but I'm happy to know that I'll enjoy the PvP more now.
 
Whoa, totally forgot that this releases tonight.

Might as well pre-order while i have the time ... Digital Deluxe, i guess?

Can't wait to spend hours upon hours grinding the same old content over and over again. It's like meditating.

I'm anticipating slight hiccups* in the first hour to an hour and a half but typical stability after that. I'd at least brace for the idea of being in a queue to begin with, just so you're not disappointed if you are. Hopefully everything just works though.

Aside from TTK downtime (which didn't last long if I remember correctly), I don't recall their servers ever having too many problems with stress.
 
Been able to push this game to the back of my mind for the last few months, I didn't even play the beta.

Now I'm sitting here with the cinematic trailer on endless repeat lol.

Sure, I certainly wasn't predicting they'd go down completely – by downtime (very poor choice of wording on reflection – my bad) I just meant there might be an initial queue or a termite error for some on trying to log in. More downtime for the user than the server type thing. I'm having to wait until midnight and really need to be hitting the hay by 2am, so I really hope there's no issues for each official 'launch'' block.
 
My Amazon.co.uk order just dispatched... with an estimated arrival on Thursday, September 14. The original estimate was September 8.
Oh well.... :-(

That fucking sucks. A pre-order with the estimate later than the release? I'd get in contact with support, they should expedite a copy to you for tomorrow.
 
Hey does anyone know how to get the pre-order bonus of the kill tracker ghost and the Coldheart exotic trace rifle? I noticed when I preordered from GameStop, I didn't see a code on the receipt to let me know I would be able to download them. Does anyone know if the bonuses are actually located inside the game box?
 
Is there anywhere for Guardians who won't be able to play immediately to huddle together and shed a tear?

Or shall I bitch and whine in the discord?
 
I preordered this on Amazon for the beta, chose the only shipping method that was offered, and it shows my order arriving Sept 12-13. What the hell?! No way to change any options, only cancel the order.
