I plan on keeping my Titan and Warlock but redoing my Hunter, even though he was my first character in Destniy.
I made him look just like the Queen's brother before I knew he was even a character in the game. So it looks weird.
I'm keeping my PSN and Battle.Net in separate clans and separate Bungie accounts.

This is a AAA game by the same people who made the Halo 3, ODST, and Reach achievement lists, which were all quite bountiful.
I know most don't care about them but this is a bit disappointing to me.

Destiny has achievement books that effectively do the same thing. I get that it is different then a trophy or achievment system wide, but the books are pretty fun to chase.
I texted on Saturday or Friday, got a quick reply text, the got the codes a few hours later.

If I buy this thing digitally & pre-load it (PSN) am I able to play right at Midnight? And does it start based on location or drops on EST. Never done this before, really want to play, really don't want to go to a midnight launch. Thank you in advance!

Also has anyone else been struck with some severe nausea after sitting through those GameStop ads for the game that keep popping up? I mean, there's I've seen inadvertently bad advertising before, but those feel like they went out of their way to be the shittiest they possibly could be.

Servers will be up for everyone in the united states in 11 hours correct? no matter where you are in the States?
Midnight est, 9pm pst.
Should unlock at midnight EST so for instance I am central and will be able to play at 11pm. However I am old and there is a good chance I will be asleep by then.
Buy it on psn, it'll preload automatically then it will update the day one patch as well. Then, you can play as soon as the timer expires tonight.
Of course I know Gideon. Had no idea it was him. Awesome.

So the only advantage to carrying a guardian over is retaining their appearance settings?
I wanted to make a new guardian and see what the character creator has to offer this time around but I don't want to miss out on any rewards from the first game, but if it's tied to the account I don't know if there's any reason not to create a new guardian in my case.

I'm not who you quoted, but I am pretty bummed that these sorts of things aren't cross-platform. They absolutely could be based on how Bungie stores everything server side and how you can link accounts together. There's really no logical reason for it.

I loved the stories my friends told me of their PS4 adventures but I wasn't going to buy a console for 1-2 games.
