It's not.I believe it is him lol.
Edit: Beaten like a government mule.

Watching a few streams, the storytelling is a lot meatier this time around. Cutscenes are beefy. Characters have personality. Everything looks sharp. Gameplay is solid. Very nice.
that stinks, lol. I want a sex change on my Hunter
Literally every patrol is miles ahead of everything in D1 bar the Dreadnaught.
God I am so in love. Breath of the Wild was incredible, but, honestly, this might be my GOTY.
don't forget how FUCKING INSANE the environments look
i mean holy shit
What made the Dreadnought patrol special? I don't remember anything particularly riveting about it.
Titan looks incredible. No spoilers but some of the interior environments are just dripping with atmosphere.

So the only advantage to carrying a guardian over is retaining their appearance settings?
I wanted to make a new guardian and see what the character creator has to offer this time around but I don't want to miss out on any rewards from the first game, but if it's tied to the account I don't know if there's any reason not to create a new guardian in my case.
I never got the option to edit my character? :\\
Anyone know if I'm good to go at midnight if my Xbone pre-load is done? I remember the original Destiny having a pretty big in-game download as well?
Someone on Reddit said the character creator is exactly the same.
Which is, of course, a massive disappointment.
You can't edit transferred characters.

Do you still get the surprise and whatnot if you start over with a new character? Is the first thing the game prompts you to do is to import or create a new character? You can't edit transferred characters.
It's 4 hours and 20 minutes until midnight where I live. Will the game unlock on PSN for me then, or is it global?
If true it's mindblowingly absurd that they wouldnt offer more choices and expand upon it with all the negativity Bungie got about the first one. I just assumed they would redo it and give us more. Bummer.
awwwww yiissssss
"Hawk. Destiny 2 is the one."

Thanks!I'm pretty sure that's account based. The emblems are 100% account based so I think the in-game surprise is too.
Please provide context for spoilers.
When posting spoiler tagged text, please provide some context around it so folks who do have the game know whether they should click or not. You might be further ahead, you might be talking about the first mission, you might be posting about an endgame element someone else got to. We have no idea.
Good spoiler:
This is from the end of mission two:wow Cayde totally said funny things
Bad spoiler:
wow I didn't think they'd actually send us inside the Traveler at the end of the campaign and have Luke explain all the secretz there
Have they just straight up taken all the D1 stuff offline from bungie.net? I'm trying to go back and see my stats and stuff, and am either blind or it's gone.
Should be fun tonight.
I look forward to good music, a decent Cabernet, shooting thing that move, and co-op with a friend or two.
Uhh, (TWIN PEAKS SEASON 3 ENTIRE SEASON SPOILERS- I think I tagged that right, Ghaleon)
Does that mean Destiny 2 is already dead and any attempt to save it will lead to us never getting it at all?
I think I am going to stay up late tonight to play it. Might take a nap after work in preparation.
Hopefully the servers hold up tonight.
Still locked last I checked...Game should unlock on PSN, servers are already up.
Ok, so I failed to get into Destiny, but really want to get into Destiny 2, seeing how much fun people had with the first one for years, and since I love Halo.
So I have my preorder in, on PSN.
What would be the best way to start the game to get into the core addiction, given that I don't have friends who play? Start just doing quests, and timed battles where I can join with strangers?
I'm going to be incredibly angry if there's a queue or server issues after everyone who broke the street date played all day.
