Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

I mean, Physical copies shouldn't be out in the wild? It's not like every single physical copy person is getting a jump, you had to find someone who would break street date.

... by 24h? you don't get punished by 24h at all, if anything you get it 12h+ earlier than most people, since most people get it delivered in the mail tomorrow.
 
I've been trying to start the game every hour in hopes that someone fucked up. Would be amazing if it went live in 17 minutes so I could get a few hours in before bed.

normally with ALL PS4 games, it's Tuesday Midnight, not fuckin Wednsday Midnight

Not true. The game officially launches at GameStop an hour before digital unlocks. Anyone who picks up their disc at GameStop can be playing 20 minutes from now

If you live close to a Gamestop, or have a car. Then you have to download the 6.2GB patch.
I don't think it's a huge issue. Digital players are good to go already.

The original release was Friday...it was probably pushed to Wednesday because of Labor Day. No one is getting punished anyways, physical releases tonight the same as digital...? lol
 
Amazing looking backgrounds, such an upgrade on D1. Lighting, use of colour and texture style the biggest improvements. Music utterly top notch.

Nearly 4am, so time to take a break and get a big run tomorrow.

Very impressed so far.

... wat? The release date is TOMORROW, not today. No game with a release day of Wednesday has ever released 24h BEFORE official release date. you're completely and utterly wrong.

this. digital is getting "punished" by 1 hour compared to the few who are picking it up an hour early at GS.

They are beneftting by 12+h compared to everyone else who gets their pre-order in the mail tomorrow.

laws must established in PlayStation Land where all games are realeased on fuckin' Tuesday and on PS Store weekly refresh

Not entirely true. Some Gamestop locations are releasing three hours after digital launch in the US. Yes, it's true. Hawaii will launch 9pm Hawaii time which is 12am Pacific, 3am East coast.

They used to launch same time as everyone else, which would be 6pm our time.

I'm not sure if I had the flu, but I came down with some serious shit last Wednesday and I'm still just now getting over it. So pissed I couldn't have gotten sick a week later lol.
 
Reading up on the three classes. So Warlock looks and seems to be the best ability-wise, but has a bad floaty jump and Titan looks lame, but the shield power looks useful. Hunter llooks too much like the gun guy in Overwatch. There aren't any weapon or gear limitations based on class, right?
 
I don't know about the rest of everyone here, but I sure am ready to play some Destiny 2.

Just a little bit though.

I was warlock form day 1 and all the other classes jumps feel super weird to me. Sticking with warlock lol

Not really... but there might be, we don't know yet.

Destiny 1 had a gunsmith vendor that would hand out class specific quests which would net you a class only weapon. Each class had 1 exotic and 1 legendary only they could use.
 
is there any way to preload the day 1 patch on xbone or does it do it automatically? there's nothing in the download queue. my total game size is 34.9GB btw

Depends what you're used to really cause I feel the same about Warlock jumps having mained a Hunter haha. I can tolerate Titan though, it's a nice middle ground.
 
You know, if Bungie were smart, they would let us Digital owners in now, then the physical owners would be getting on in about an hour later. Would be easier on the server load you know. Just thinking about the servers.
