Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

played for 8 hours straight, not liking it so far, there was no strikes so far( most important thing after Raid), just boring story and side missions, even thought the story missions are a bit of an improvement from the first game, but as someone who played a lot of Destiny 1, there is nothing interesting in Destiny 2's PRE-end content

they added too much side missions, most of it will be ignored since you will already get a better loot before playing them, enemy types are exactly the same, nothing new, and what is even funny is that even the bosses are exactly the same

the PvP is boring now because of Overwatch

that is my impression from the 8 hours i played

it's an amazing game for newcomers for sure, but those who played a lot of Destiny 1 may feel repetitiveness and nothing fresh like how Destiny 1 was

of course this is BEFORE END CONTENT which is the most important thing about Destiny, all i talked about was the story and open world missions

I agree 100%. I feel like I’m living in bizarro world with all the praise.

LOL bestbuy sent me my coldheart code and didn't email me my game code. Still waiting. Yeesh ok lesson learned always preorder directly on PSN never through bestbuy again for digital purchases.

The beginning of the game reminded me of
Halo 3's
beginning. Got some chills there.

Campaign is absolute Bungie quality from the Halo days so far. I hope it remains consistent.

Yeah this is straight up Bungie coming back to its peak Halo days in terms of campaign quality so far imo. Just with the budget turned up to 11

Hmm still not a fan of the Dawnblade super itself. Doesn't feel accurate and it almost never goes where you want it to go. Also why doesn't it last as long as Arcstrider or Sentinel?

Maybe it does and I'm just crazy. Either way not a fan of how it feels.

Everyone is in the honeymoon state with the game, give it a month when the honeymoon bubble pops and people come complaining theres nothing endgame wise lol

Seems like a vast improvement so far.

Unfortunate it stills seems to have the same issue of never finding other nearby Guardians during those random events. Ending my play session tonight (gotta go to work) after spotting a flag in the distance, reaching it, fighting off a bunch of enemies, then trying to solo a Devil Walker (Arsenal Walker). Was nowhere near finishing in time, and my game crashed with 60 seconds remaining.

Hmph

I didn't have a honeymoon phase with the first game. I didn't start to like it until The Taken King. Not even the climb up to the endgame. So far this is an improvement.

cool, i'm currently 14 and close to 15, i'm bored as hell, i just want my weekly Nightfall and Raids

You play 8 hours straight and all you do is moan. Havent you got better things to do with your life than play a game you dislike? Damn, get a grip on yourself, accept you dont like it, sell it, and do something you enjoy. What a waste.

Agreed about the budget. The visuals, sound, gunplay, music, cinematic... all of it is just so perfect. So far. Huge step up from my initial hype of Destiny 1 to the "this has to get better" feeling I had with the original game. Now I'm just hoping the quality stays the same, and this very well may be a GotY contender for me.

Just got a PS4 code for the coldheart, however I bought the Xbox one version, anyone else have this issue?

Edit: I ordered from Best Buy

PS4 pro and regular HDTV here, played for about 2 hours with no crashes.

Disc based copy, don't know if that matters at all.
