Well done, Bungie. Well done on the EDZ alone.
Yes. And if you remove a shader it's gone. And you need one for every armour piece/weapon/ship etc.
Got a question about a sort of map icon and what it is you have to do.
so I got these things that hang from a ceiling that I can scan, ghost says they are from venus when you inspect them. What do you do with those?
Can you preview shaders though?
It'd be borderline criminal if you can't even make an informed decision on whether to equip
Should I wait until level 20 to decrypt exotic engrams or does it not matter?
Holy shit I hate what they've done with shaders now. Consumables with 5 charges that you can apply once to a gear piece AFAIK
Surprisingly pretty well. Hated the idea at first, but now I like it for multiple reasons.
Nah that's still scummy. You can't swap in swap out like the first game. Once you paint 5 pieces of armor tough luck find a duplicate to paint other pieces if you swap armor or use another shader. If it has five charges that's less scummy but still pretty dickish.
almost. You 'consume' the item when you use it. So you get a shader; you 'use' it, the new shader gets applied and the previous shader is gone.

Pretty scared about these reports of crashes when you have a PS4 Pro and 1080p TV. I have that setup. Hopefully this doesn't affect me and will be fixed asap.
Yeah everything about this so far is perfect but that shader decision is just nuts. Why break something that had nothing wrong with it. The Shader system was perfect as is.

Shaders were perfect in D1.almost. You 'consume' the item when you use it. So you get a shader; you 'use' it, the new shader gets applied and the previous shader is gone.
i'm not gonna wade too far into this as I don't know all the intracacies yet and it sounds like maybe there are problems with it, but you can use different shaders on each piece of gear (i.e. mix and match) when that wasn't even an option in D1. You only could change your whole set. I think it is an improvement in that regard in terms of the cosmetic endgame. But it could be they are too hard to get or it's too punitive for them to be consumable, dunno yet. I just think that respect at least is an improvement so I wouldn't call the old one perfect in comparison.Yeah everything about this so far is perfect but that shader decision is just nuts. Seems to apply only for a few people. I've started a thread about it.

Friend of mine and I have this setup.
5 hrs in - no crashes.
I have that setup as well, played 7-8 hours last night, no issues.
Cool. I think I'll be fine since I didn't have any problems with TR or the Beta.
On a different note. Do we get supersampling with 1080p displays?
Hmmm crucible feel MUCH crispier than the beta did.
Wait. What? Oh fucking Hell.Yes. And if you remove a shader it's gone. And you need one for every armour piece/weapon/ship etc.
How do you get more landing/fast travel zones for the EDZ? Still only got the Trostland and it's time to move on to Titan.
