Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Bungie dropping the hammer on the haters hard. Sound design God tier, excellent campaugn , so fun, lots to do, everything is top notch in this game.They have outdone themselves
 
The zones are huge compared with D1. This will take a looong time to see everything. Nice to see they havent skimped on content this time.

Yeah I have to say I enjoy the campaign so far. The beginning was sort of eh but it grows. It has a good pace, lots of dialogue and enjoyable banter. You're still shooting waves and dumb AI but its better paced this time and there is more variation.

Sucks that HDR isn't there yet though.

Yeah, it seems like they really nailed the story this time around. Total 180 from the first "story"
 
Public Events are seriously where it's at. You could level all the way to 20 with decent gear without touching the campaign if you wanted.

I have done the Walker Heroic version a few times and can usually trigger it by myself if no one else present knows what's going on. I haven't beaten the Heroic for any others yet and have only triggered it for a couple. Usually very wrecked.

Some random tips to come.

How do activate the heroic version of a PE?
 
Could someone point out what I will NOT be able to do without Live Gold on XB1? I'm not really into the pvp aspect, more what's inaccessible for the pve stuff.

Got back to playing the game and noticed Japan is locked out of the Eververse stuff.
I find it amusing that Japan, one of the countries with the most inane paid stuff in games, doesn't have this.

Oh well, hopefully at least I'm not missing on good stuff...

Anyway, barely started playing the game (got to where I can play co-op now) and really enjoying this. Missed Destiny :)

The high servitor on EDZ bodied me, there was no one around. sucks. I was only level 3 still though. Another one with a huge portal on the second planet was packed. Haven't looked into heroics yet.
 
Not to far in but loving it so far. Up to this point campaign blows D1 away. Any idea if there's any dead ghosts to find this time? I enjoy exploring all around anyway but up to this point haven't found one and was just wondering if I should be keeping an eye out for them.
 
Just restarted as my old Warlock and I really like the faster handling compared to the slow and tanky Titan. Really like the Titan Sentinel abilities though so im probably going to end up switching back and forth a bit more to see how I feel down the road. Definitely wont have time to play both classes though so I need to pick one eventually.
 
Wasn't one of the perks of transferring characters supposed to be that you'd see the date you created them on the login screen? I don't have those here.
 
LORE QUESTION:
where did all SIVA and SIVA infused enemies go?
And for that matter...
What about Taken enemies?
Did the Dreadnaught finally get dismantled or is it still hanging out here...?
 
I never tried to create more than three characters in the original, do we really only have three character slots? Was hoping to check out the creator without deleting one of my imported characters.

Assume there's no actual benefit to an imported character?

Man, how fucking fun and great is this game huh?

Myself and friends were there with Destiny on day 1, felt the grind with vanilla but the expansions kept us going and TTK brought a much needed dose of life to everything. But my friends at that time, despite getting both TTK and RoI, became disillusioned with the whole thing and didn't stick around to do the raids which in extension meant I was never able to.

Fast forward to last night at 2am where I'm playing with the same friends and I'm grinning as they're proclaiming how much better everything is and really loving the campaign and just, well everything. lol

Is it just me or does the game just look better since the beta? I know the audio mix is much improved and noticed more dialogue geared towards using a legacy Warnock but man this game is gorgeous. Earth and the EDZ I thought looked great but then we went to Titan and I was blown away.
I quickly just want to touch on the soundtrack...I refrained from listening to it nor haven't purchased it so hearing it for the first time in game was something. That early Kronos Quartet track was beautiful and it was funny that myself and my friends but that moment at the same time and their reactions to the song were as positively vocal as mine in the party. lol

So yeah. Destiny 2 is the sequel I'd hoped it would be and then some. Having a blast and trying not to blow through the campaign despite it getting its hooks in and my friends are wanting to jump from planet to planet..
 
Deleted my warlock since it was my least played character to see the character creation. Yeah think I'll stick to my old guys for Titan and Hunter.

Man the opening missions are wow.

SUBCLASS SPOILERS
The mission for the Titan Striker subclass was an absolutely beautiful celebration of the class. I can't rob my classic characters of these moments. I will carry them with me for the rest of this saga.
 
Level 13 now..I'm trying to ssave my Milestones until I'm level 20 and have high armor but should I just do them? I want to be level 15 to finish the story
