Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Encountering a weird issue but not sure if it's a bug or not...

I've finished the main campaign; during that when things like Patrols, Strikes etc. open up you also get a set f challenges set in EDZ. I completed those but now post-main campaign end my Milestones have updated with a new item 'EDZ Challenges' - asking you to complete three challenges in the zone. However when I take my ghost out in the EDZ it still shows the same old challenges I previously completed... am I missing something? Should there be a new set of challenges shown now or do those have no bearing on this Milestone task (though if it's the latter how do I know what challenges to complete?)?

nice next gen water bungle

fuck is this game ugly at spots, somehow worse than destiny 1 which was super pretty

In the beta,
two subclass specs and one entire third subclass
were unavailable.
Well yeah, hence why I'm asking if those being available has changed people's feelings on Hunter or if it still seems underwhelming compared to the others. Debating between maiming them or Titan.

Challenges reset daily I believe. The EDZ ones, you have to have the task when you do them for them to count so just wait until tomorrow and complete it.

Oh my lord, some of these lost sectors are absolutely beautiful and massive. So much work done, glad they found a way to kind of extend us out to see them. D1 wasn't really worth exploring much but this I actually see an icon while doing an adventure and I'm like "oh yes, I'm checking that shit out."

Edit: anyone else experiencing frame drops?

I noticed it during a heavy gun fight my response started to lag a bit and it felt weird as fuck

Just hit level cap and I haven't even reached Io yet lol. Having so much fun running around the planet's and doing the adventures and public events.

I forgot how much I hate it when I have a gun with great handling characteristics, then I get a drop that is so much more damage that I feel obligated to use it. :P

Like, I've bean tearing it up with this green Pulse Rifle (even though they usually aren't my thing), and a blue SMG with waaay more damage drops.

Anyone having trouble connecting to crucible? Anytime I try to go, it says 1/8 guardians and never goes higher. Playing on PS4 and I have ps plus.

If that argument is going to be made, then Titan should have 14% the gravity of earth.

I don't actually care about either.
“Dr. Shim shrugs. "I think the Traveler did something paracausal to Venus. Something that cut across space and time. The Citadel seems to come from the past of a different Venus than our own. It doesn't have to make any sense by our logic, any more than the Moon's new gravity."

In other words: space magic.

It would have been hilarious if they actually did realistic gravity because it would have been awful.

Is this game like Division and Borderlands?

Is it more PVE focused or PVP focused? I read Bungie is trying to encourage PVP whereas Destiny 1 was more PVE oriented. I really hated the Dark Zone in Division and how carebear players like me are forced to engage in PVP to get better gear.

yeah whatever. I think Titan looks really impressive... including the hydrocarbon oceans. Water on Earth in-game looks "better" than that in the sense you're talking about but I am guessing they had to cut down detail because of how massive they are in the whole environment outdoors. The scale of the waves, the platforms and the arcology in the skybox all really work well.

There's nothing remotely like it to compare to in Destiny 1...

What the hell does this have anything to do with it?

Because he's asking for it to look like water. Yes it's low poly but we seriously can't just accept that it's not water at all? Like there's other reasons that it looks odd due to it not being water, the low poly doesn't do it favours but it lacks transparency etc for a reason.

So is there any point of holding on to an old ugly character? I finished the intro but I don't see anything signifying its age and achievements, aside from the cutscene at the start.

Space Water, Hawkian. Space Water.

I think I might delete my D1 Hunter and Warlock and make female Guardians after I finish the campaign with my Titan. I did male on all three in the first game. I've done searches, but there doesn't seem to be any real benefit in keeping old Guardians except for
the slideshow and an emblem.

I think his snarky reply was “it doesn’t look like water because it’s not supposed to, since Titan’s oceans are liquid methane.”

Where this falls apart is Cassini proved waves on Titan and they’re milimeters high.

But hey, space magic.
