Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Nah...I can play other online games. Hell, I'm playing BO3 at the moment, while Bungie gets their shit together. People are reporting Xbox issues as well.

My brothers are both over and we were having a "lan" party but their psn icon shows the blue dot, mind's red, they got in, I didn't =(

Basically Sony hates me and the others with the problem

i got the Red legion communications and now the next quest step says "look for the arrival of the World-Eater"

anyone got ideas ?

I think Bungie hates you, or they did a bad job preparing for launch day. Destiny 1 is having the same issue as well. Its a Bungie issue. Titanfall, CoD and Madden all work for me.

I haven't opened my game yet. Before I do so, is the story mode worth it? I know it's an online game and it's meant to be multiplayer but I'm hoping for a good story mode.

How long was it?

For me it was more than 8. It becomes hard to track for many since the game has many none story missions interspersed with the main one and sometimes a mission requires a specific level and depending on how you go about gaining levels it can extend it too.

its good. Removing the taint of D1 and just looking at it from the outside, its not at all amazing. But its workable has some interesting elements and keeps things moving.

Save all your purple/yellow (legendary/exotic) items in your vault instead of dismantling them when you run out of room. White, green, and blue are usually safe to trash.
So dismantling equipment that you no longer use, is the way to go, right? I just want to make sure there isn't an obscure vendor somewhere who I must sell stuff to, to earn a particular currency which will then allow me to buy specific items from them.

Personally I would not buy this game just for the story mode. There are better choices out there.

This is odd, I can't get a game in uncharted either, I wonder if this is something on Sonys end, and not bungie. I just get stuck on Searching forever

So apparently everyone and their grandmothers are saying that Arcstrider isn't very viable for high-level content due to its short-range Supercharge move and the fact that many of its moves are melee-based and that they usually only benefit the Arcstrider and no one else in the team.

What do you folks think? Kinda sad that it seems like it is a class that seems to be as close as it gets to be universally considered as underwhelming.

PSSST Karak come play with DGAF.

where can i find Red legion troops in Nessus ?? i have a quest step from something i took that is placed in the heavy weapon slot, maybe it's an exotic weapon quests ?

i need to farm communications from Red legion troops

I just got a bunch from The Inverted Spire Strike, it completed the step which I didn't even know I had a quest, it says something is coming and to look for the "World-Eater."

i looked over google about the item and no one knows how to complete it's quest and everyone says it's for the Raid

Do we have any confirmation that they're working on it?

This I cannot say. But most probably, seems to be quite affecting a large number of people so no need to think they're not trying to fix it.

EDIT: seems to be related to PS+ servers, maybe they're not able to validate that you infact have PS+. It says I have + on my account page on the PS but as I access the store, it says I dont.

i already finished the story

i got the item from a strike, it's placed in the heavy weapons slot, it looks like gold coins

I know. I'm saying maybe they're having us revisit missions? I don't know. The only thing I can think of is
The Almighty

Exotic Armor Spoiler:

I was so excited when I saw the new Sunbreakers and got sad immediately that it got nerfed. Doesn't grant an additional grenade. What a bummer, would have definitely taken that.

Don't know if that counts as a spoiler but I know people don't want to know about exotics until they find them.

Hunter story, I chose
Lucky Pants
purely for aesthetics... I hope that doesn't come back to bite me if I end up choosing arc strider over gunslinger...

So was the rumor you can't play the campaign co-op until you complete it actually true?

It's false

You just need to get your first subclass after the opening mission

That's it, you'll know because when you finally return to the farm there will be other players

So I was texting my friend while in the menu and this weird human speech kind of eerie and slightly inaudible was on the TV, thought an NPC appeared, so I turned off the menu and it was a servitor, it was floating around mumbling something and laughing evily, is there lore for this? Dont remember them speaking in D1.

If any devs read this, I know Luke is sometimes posts here, thank you for getting Iain Glen. The highlight of my year was seeing a new season of Jack Taylor on Netflix after I thought it was over.

He is one of the comfiest actors out there. Glad he is in D2.

I don't think Ill ever fully get the Destiny formula.

Like, I'm doing the sniper dudes campaign at the moment, but I mean, what are the chances someone else is at the same point of progress and has any interest in joining me at this point?

Am I being dumb?

I was playing the campaign and there was a part where i had to hold off 3 waves of enemies, it was getting tough and a bunch of online players ended up jumping in and we kicked ass together. After that battle they all disappeared.

Is that normal? for players to randomly drop in and out of my single player experience? Not complaining, i needed the help. Just thought it was cool how seamless online was weaved into the SP.

I'm curious about this too. While I was on a public event, I was fighting a thing for a bit, but then I noticed another player nearby who might have been there the whole time. How does the drop in Co cop stuff work?
