The overworld maps are fucking deserted on Xbox I almost never see anyone at events or anything.

Is there any fix at all to Crucible matchmaking being busted on the XBOX One? All progress has halted for me until I finish those two matches.

I still think there's an issue with all the matchmaking for the game because it takes forever for me to find a crucible match or team in the strike playlist.

There are also times when I'm running around public zones where I see blue dots on my radar but there isn't anyone actually there so it seems like there are some backend issues they need to iron out.

Don't think so. My beloved warlock now looks like she is wearing blackface due to darker skin (fine) and suddenly bright red lips (not fine).

Hope we get a barber-like person in the future. To change some/all aspects of our characters' looks.

So what's been the consensus on content/end game compared to D1? I am only level 9, still going through the campaign so I am trying to avoid too many spoilers, but want a general idea.

Overall the story and their corresponding missions are 100 times better! Loving it so far.

Actually, that makes perfect sense. I totally remember that engram saying 184 when I first previewed it. The stuff I got out when I was finally level 20 was 205 and 210. So I can confirm that from memory at least.

And yeah if you want to be efficient the idea is to wait until 260 to grab them I spose.

I personally like new stuff to play with and really like the look of some of the legendary gear so I can't wait that long Infusion's not too rough anyway.

Yeah it's gone. Now you either get them in bright engrams or microtransactions it seems. No idea how bright engrams work though yet

So you get your inventory space for ships and sparrows--any new ones you get will necessitate trashing one in your inventory if it's full.

It has a nice list of names featuring such noble heroes as "BallsDeepInU" and "ShowMeTheFanny". For some reason these Epic Guardians were not featured in the trailers...

Perhaps for my LFG post on the new Raid I will have to specify "Light level >260 and no #reapernames pls"

I'll have to look at my alts and see what ridiculous companion names they have.

The Adventures add a ton of mystery to the world. I've been doing them alongside the story missions and it feels great.

When I put merely 2 hours in to Destiny 2 I said this was better than the entirety of Destiny 1 vanilla. 20 hours in and I think this is better than Destiny 1 in total. The QOL improvements alone are just fantastic, the stuff to do and see, etc.

Challenges reset every day for each zone as do challenges for every other activity (strikes, crucible quick play and competitive).

For those challenges I've only ever got the tokens for each of the different areas that you redeem for the engram at the local field commander/Failsafe.

My post mentioning this was burried before so bringing it back up, can servitors talk? Is this mew to Destiny 2? I was in the menu and something was mumbling something and when I unpaused a servitor was floating around me laughing evily. It was the only enemy around too.

So yesterday I was able to climb up to lvl 20 and 218 light with a decent amount of weapons and legendary stuffs to yank my exotics (the pants and the sun gun) up to a decent level. Popped NightStalker and poured all my available points into it so it was upgraded immediately. Played around with it and was loving the build... had still half a day basically left to play!!

Then logged off to spend time with my girl cause she was having a shite day and lo and behold - Disconnected Bullshit when I tried to get back on.

Lesson learned Destiny. Lesson learned. I must destroy my family.

(fucking godamnit the Destiny hooks. I need to figure out exactly where the real "power" of Nightstalker is supposed to be. The tether is boss as always but I'm supposed to do ridiculous damage with the extra shots in the quiver if something is already tethered correct?)

I was able to login without any issues this morning and all my activites from yesterday afternoon needed turning in. I ended up opening like 8 Bright Engrams and an ass ton of legendary ish to break down. The addiction is real. I'm buying a psn+ account and another copy for my girl before permanent damage is done :-D

Concerning shielded enemies and energy weapons.

Once we take down an enemy shield is it worth-while to switch to kinetic to do damage, or does the energy weapon damage bonus to shielded enemies continue once we take their shields down?

Seems to just be Public Events in the specified zone.
