I feel i'm basic soldier in the grand scheme of things (because nobody really care about me and until the last 2 missions) whereas in destiny i was at least discovering and preventing huge threaths to the galaxy.

To be fair, Ghaul is a huge threat to the galaxy.

I think they mean the scout reports for each planet that you can buy from Cayde, lasts 4 hours, shows chests when you're close.

I think Cayde is overdone a bit, but he's there to make fun of the game's story. They messed the bed so badly in D1 there really is no way to take it extremely seriously, its always going to be under the microscope. I mean they had to just retcon the Darkness out of the game by pretending it doesn't exist.

Phew... For all my disappointments in the story, they did do a lot right. I do wish the main story was a bit more epic, but the worlds and content are so much more improved than D1 that at least it makes exploring fun.

Don't know why they took out dead ghosts though... They were fun to collect.

A reddit post confirmed that the respawn animations are consumed

Last time I checked the consensus was that it's a problem on Sony's side and might require a repair job / replacement to fix the issue.

Don't remember if i changed the router settings for my OG PS4. Checking it out later.

If you are having problems logging in on a network based game then it's a network/port issue...not a hardware issue.

I have a Pro and have no issues at all.

This is in no way a 100% confirmation but it's what I've read in the reddit thread about this issue. It seems the same crashes happened in the Beta and in the TR demo for everyone who is affected by this. Some have gotten their Pros repaired and the issues went away (I'm guessing with TR since Destiny just launched).

Loving the game play, but I cannot understand how some people claim the story is any better than D1's. Ghaul is laughable. The dialogue is once again full of dumb one liners that don't fit the situations at all... the chemistry between the hawk lady and the old guy made me facepalm.

Not that any of this is important since the story is over soon and the grinding shall begin.

There's some pretty bad posts in here, but this is the frontrunner. Wow.

You've basically just done the tutorial.

There's no matchmaking for story stuff, you do it all organically. If you have friends then you form a party, and you can play with people in the same zone as you, so long as you aren't instanced into a story section (meaning only people in your party will be there).

You get crucible when you get to the farm, which is matchmade pvp. At level 15 you get matchmade strikes which are instanced dungeons. You can do multiplayer as soon as you're finished with the shard of the traveller though.
