You can turn them in but you can't get the engram till level 20.
So they'll just be waiting for you there until you do.

Question for Titan "Sentinel Shield" super:
When you block with the shield, (1) can you guard people behind you and become a protective wall, and (2) Can people shoot through your shield (unlike the bubble)? I really want to pop that super, absorb ALL the damage from the boss, and let my teammates just wail on said boss from behind my shield (being the damage-sponge tank is just too much fun).
I'm assuming it just protects you, which would be a huge bummer.
Yes and yes. The image for the entrance, shows up on the map. It's like a lower case n with a dot inside it's bright for ones you haven't been to and dull for ones you have been to.So do Lost Sectors show up on your map, and does it mark off which ones you've already done? Also, is the loot reward for doing them based off your level or the general difficulty of the area?
I look ridiculous lmao
I'm kinda here too. I think if you like an exotic or legendary item don't dismantle it but dismantle others to get shards. When you have enough shards and a stronger weapon you can click triangle or Y on the exotic you like and choose infuse on your best weapon of that type to make the exotic stronger.so should i dismantle any legendary items i get? what about exotics?
i'm not 100% sure how infusion works. help me out. i've been just basically been equipping the most powerful gear and dismantling everything else.
Fuck no, man. That looks dope af.
Looks like a Nessus armor set, right? What activities are you finding helpful for grinding Nessus Rep? Do you have a good loop or rhythm?
Infusion is something you'll do mostly later on or with exotics. You pay some glimmer and legendary shards (which you get for dismantling legendaries and exotics) and dismantle gear of a higher power rating to improve one with a lower rating. For example I have an exotic helmet with 103 power. If I got a helmet with a 250+ rating I can infuse the exotic to give it that rating.so should i dismantle any legendary items i get? what about exotics?

I think my playthrougb may have just killed itself. I've finished the story and wasdoing the rounds talking to people.
It asked me to speak to Holiday but she just shows me her store and the mission icon stays above her head.
Sigh... I'm gonna need to start again aren't I?
if you infuse anything infuse stuff into legendary gear that has a +5 modifier on it but dont worry about it until you're near 265. dismantle lower rated legendary gear. if you have a great exotic that you think you'll get a lot of use out of then infuse stuff into it once you've hit 265+ I've got plenty of these legendary shards and we dont know how many you'll need for Xur

Again I'm not 100% sure but I think that's what to do.

And don't freak out if you already turned in enough engrams to level up. The engram will level with you. It doesn't become fixed until it's claimed.
I'm very curious how scaling works in this game. Both I (level 4) and a level 20 were firing at an enemy, and it seemed as if our shots were doing about the same amount of damage.
Thanks. I'd like to be ready for raid if I can manage it, so it would suck if I accidentally delayed my progress somehow.
as for levelling up vendors am i OK to just redeem tokens as i get them? i had a few engrams waiting for me which i accepted. or should i hold onto my tokens until i've levelled up a bit more?

Ye, just pump everything out from token vendors.
Yep. Turning is fine. Waiting is fine. Don't fret about it.
I look ridiculous lmao
Is there a max power level of items from token venders?
I look ridiculous lmao
Just got this awesome grenade launcher in crucible
woah. looks sick.
I hope it's good tho all the grenade launchers i've tried have been extremely underwhelming dating inlcuding the beta launcher...
I look ridiculous lmao
It takes forever. I think it was seven public events (2 of them heroic), a ton of adventures, lost sectors, and several story missions before it was ready for me. It's worth it though. So worth it.is Stormcaller meant to take longer to unlock than Voidwalker? I didn't even put any effort into Voidwalker but it's take quite a while to unlocked Stormcaller.
At this rate I think I might just go back to Dawnblade.
I assume you have tried relogging?
Also DO NOT take that Zavala engram. Gring PL up first![]()
The clan implementation is awesome. We're currently earning xp just dicking around in patrol.

Destiny has always been that way. For public areas or shared non-end game activities, all damage is scaled DOWN to match content. Over-leveling is generally not possible.
Damage does not scale UP however in that if you joined your friend's Nightfall, you'd be doing almost no damage.

265 IIRC
What's so good about Stormcaller? Happy with the Devour on Voidwalker at the moment.
In D2 the titans have a silly look. Ten bux says their full raid gear will be basically a mini Gauhl out fit.I look ridiculous lmao
So engrams are the only way to get past 265?
