It went live right after I got on earlier. I completed the flashpoint and everything so we would have been much higher. The last thing I did was grab the banner before leaving for work since I wanted to see if it was working.

I'm the opposite. Regicide has a cool motif, but the better half of the track is annoying and it doesn't integrate well into the rest of the score. D2 orchestrates its themes throughout and makes for a more cohesive listening experience. That's more indicative of quality to me than one melody.

I caved and am now double dipping >.<. As someone who never jumped on board for Destiny 1, so far I'm really enjoying myself. The only thing I wish is that there was some form of Matchmaking or something for the story missions.

Praying they surprise announce a cross-save system....
 
so if 5k is the personal contribution limit, does that mean clans smaller than 20 people get shafted? that's a rather dumb move on bungie's part if so.
 
I read someone's post earlier this morning saying your alt will level faster than your first character. Is this true, and if so how does it work? Do I need to get my main to the Cap first before my alt will get the bonus xp? Or is it just from loot share?

Stick with at least one other teammate.

You can flank and lonewolf in this game but it can be pretty tough; if you come around a corner on two opponents who know your coming it's pretty much GG to teamshotting.

A 450 fire rate auto rifle legendary with some stability perks on it (like Uriel's Gift) is a pretty good all-around choice for a beginner, and will be more forgiving of missed shots that a pulse or scout.

Getting armor with resilience will help your survivability a little.

I feel your pain the story is super boring alone I just finished today and it was torture alone.
 
Should I be waiting to pop clan engrams until I'm 265+ or do they scale to the light level you are currently at when you earn the rewards?
 
anyone know for the rat king if your fireteam has to all have the rat king crew item?

Can you really only get 5,000 clan points per character per week? Kinda makes it hard to hit the 100,000 goal unless you're in a big clan.
 
My luck with RNG is still as bad as it is in Destiny 1.

And my friend's RNG is still as good as it is in Destiny 1

Dammit.
 
Just got the Hallowfire Heart exotic chest for my Titan, around 15 levels above the rest of my gear, sweet! Strength 231 and climbing

While I loved the vanilla D1 OST (uuuugggghhh, that final boss theme in Black Garden is so freaking good) I wasn't too fond of the expansion OSTs. Listening through D2's OST I had multiple tracks Ireally loved, especially The Journey, which is imho one of the best tracks of the entire franchise.

I had 400+hrs in D1, but I haven't bought D2 because my squadmates from D1 didn't have the money right now. I'm so jealous right now. Will absolutely double-dip after the beta, because it was so great on PC. And on PC I will be there Day 1, on PS4 a bit later, I think. Except when there's a great deal on the PS4 version coming up soon.
 
Got this exotic today. If only I were good enough for Trials. :(

I haven't been keeping up with the thread cause don't want things spoiled, but a small group of us from gaf (myself, Ballistic, Shiv, Dez) started up a clan (Vex Enthusiasts) if anybody here is looking to join up with more casualish Destiny players and contribute to the cause and not just join a big clan for easy rewards, shoot me a PSN message or ask for invite through game (PSN is same as here).

Hope there are some people left looking as we only have 6 ATM and can't come even close to 100k :)
 
I’m not really sure how to join a clan. Do I need to use the app or website somehow? Or do you unlock it at a certain level? I’m only level 3.

At PL280 you can turn 3 Rare (blue) quality mod into 1 Legendary (purple) quality mod of same kind. E.g. 3x Rare Sol Damage mod for 1x Legendary Sol Damage mod.

With mods you can do things like change damage type of energy and special weapon (sol, arc, void) or have equip armor mods for reduced CD's on specific things. There is other effects on armor mods too.
 
So, since what you roll is contingent on your power level, is it based off what you currently have equipped, or what your most powerful item is in your possession?

What's in your possession, this is the best quality of life improvement they made from the first game.
