Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

So where is the best place on Nessus to kill "powerful Fallen" with Drang?
Best thing I found was to look for one of the Fallen glimmer extraction public events, that event spawns lots of powerful Fallen that are pretty easy to kill.

Just keep in mind that you need to land the killing blow with the Drang, not just damage it, so some people can go gung ho and take your kills there.

Still have to beat the storyline, I am level 205 and have a Sparrow from a bright engram (and an exotic emote lol). The OST of D2 is up there, it absolutely stomps the previous game.

Yeah I think this game is extremely well done. I notice I hop from lost sector to public to adventure even though I wanted to stop 2 hours ago. But I don't know what to think of the fixed perks on weapons. For exotics this was normal but now everything is identical. Though you can change certain things with mods, which is likely the purpose of it all.

The story is actually legit fun, and I absolutely hated D1's story mode. I also thought TTK was overrated here, it was an improvement but still very boring. In D2 I actually enjoy the dialogue, esp. Failsafe.

Can anyone give me tips for Crucible?

I legit don't understand how I'm so bad at it

yeah this is pretty fkin great
What's the verdict: Riskrunner, Sunshot or Lance?
You can't really go wrong with the Lance or Sunshot, depending on your weapon preference. Riskrunner takes some more forethought to get the most out of so it's between the other two IMO.

The weapon range was a big curve for me. I have to constantly remind myself to switch weapons based on the area of the map I'm in. SMGs are pretty useless beyond a certain range, but assault rifles put people down, etc. I still suck right now, but that helped.

Update on the Tractor Cannon exotic shotgun: it also pushes back armored and shielded enemies.

Which makes it a lot better.

And hilarious. :lol

Soundtrack is really good, definitely familiar like D1 but different enough. I can't say which I like better.

D1 soundtrack was god tier. The Hive techno music was excellent.

I really liked the Lance from what I've played with it. Takes getting used to that kick after the 3rd shot, but I started getting the hang of it in Crucible and it can be really deadly. I love hand cannons too so I really want that Sunshot as well. Do you or anyone else know if I start a new character, do I get to choose from those Exotics again or is it one time per account thing? Might get an earlier than planned start on my second character if I can pick the Sunshot the second time through.

wut

This is way better than TTK.

Nothing is as good as the main Taken King motif in this game. Also generic orchestral stuff is hard to make stand out or resonate. It's why the Vex stuff that is more techno or the Cabal music that is more like marching orders sticks out but everything that's like the tower music or main menu stuff just sounds... like background noise.

God damn that rat king quest was a pain to finish. We still got 6:20 on the clock by the end of the nightfall.

It looks awesome, but it sucks as a weapon. I could see the invisibility thing being helpful but thats it.

Level 278, still grinding away, waiting for that raid!

one overblown track does not a soundtrack make

I mean sure but I'd have a hard time putting Destiny 2's OST over several other games this year (namely Nier, Prey, and most likely Pyre but I haven't heard Pyre's though like I said, I'd put money down it's better than most things this year).

whatever then I'm content that the vast majority of what I've heard is pleasant to listen to. I can't say the same of anything I've heard in a few years, especially Destiny.

I ain't saying it's no good, just that orchestral stuff tends to have a hard time sticking out to me. I have a soft spot for horns/brass though which is why the Taken King motif is so gooooooood.

That must be MVP weapon on Titan patrol o_O

edit: If you kill a high-value target via "ring-out" you still get their chest ;)
