Happened to me too.

I've decrypted 3 duplicate exotics and I only have 5.

Most of those threads were people asking for help to do nightfalls and raids. We're not quite there yet. I think a lot of us are enjoying doing everything else right now.
It's also a lot easier and faster to gain light levels. Even playing solo is viable. I wonder if it'll bite Bungie in the ass in the end. Less grind means less playtime. At least for me.
 
275+ and you kind of just have to pray that RNG will bless you with higher level exotics you can use for infusion

is the gunsmith the only vendor that gives gear above 265?

That said when sales come out Monday for the UK and Destiny 2 sells less units than Destiny 1 at retail expect threads to be made filled with hot takes. It's going to be rough

PvE its a room cleaning machine. You can fire one shot for say, thralls or the Fallen thralls shadow for the wizard and it kills them all.

Coldheart, Sunshot, Skyburners are my favorites so far. Eye of Another World plus all of the recharge ability mods have me pretty close to where I was before.

Also, exotic Speeder from a Bright engram. Looks pretty badass.

I logged on and had 5 full pages of people playing.
Half of my friends just switched to digital. The trends are pretty clear, not just for this game, but others as well.
If someone wants to ignore that to give a shit-post hot take, they can have at it. The thread in a year will be pretty funny.

I'd second this and also add that Destiny 1's first OT dealt with more controversy. Many buying OG Destiny had no idea what the game was, what players were in for, and what Bungie was thinking with some of its baffling design decisions. If there's a hype thread this is comparable to, it's more TTK, where we all knew much more going in.

I got an exotic speeder that has a super cool effect when you boost it makes it shoot plumes of fire kinda looks like a phoenix's wings.

I'm expecting around a 20% drop in sales in the UK. Because I expect a much larger shift to digital with D2 in comparison to the first.

That won't stop lots of people from going all in on the inevitable thread that will be made when UK numbers look down in comparison to the original

Didn't more people preorder this than the original? Which sold a huge amount on release.
 
So I can't remember how infusion was like in destiny 1. I could sworn you could just infuse any heavy weapon with any heavy. Like rocket launcher with machine gun. Getting a high light weapon of the same type as your preferred loadout is hard.

They also didn't like people levelling with all classes as alts cos you can't infuse titan gauntlets with warlock gauntlets and so on. Why? Thought it was a good system so people could play classes. Maybe they just want people to stick with 3 of the same class but that's a bit boring.

Total pre-orders yes. But that includes digital. The UK charts will not reflect any digital sales on Monday

Yes this exactly. I fully expect physical units for D2 to be down across the board. Activision already stated that D2 has a higher digital mix in sales than any game they've ever released on consoles. A 20% or more drop in sales at retail wouldn't be surprising to me in the least
 
Yo guys,

Once you get Riskrunner exotic you might as well stop playing because you don't need another gun ever. I was like "oh great a submachine gun exotic" when I got it but the thing is the best gun for pve hands down.

So once you get hit with arc dmg it activates some overcharge mode for five seconds during which:

-all your shots do higher dmg
-you chain lightning to nearby enemies
-all kills reset the timer for overcharge
-you have unlimited ammo during overcharge

This thing is basically having the warlock arc super active at all times. I did the EDZ "enemies fighting each other" event just now and went around 7 minutes without reloading once and killed like a thousand enemies. It absolutely decimates bosses too because you can fire non stop without reloading.

Yes, it's amazing. Pair it with the auto-reload rift warlock exotic and it's even better. Haven't tested but would anyone confirm if using the low titan barrier and ducking to auto-reload, does it still keep the insta-charge shots?

oh my god that mixed with a voidlock devour buff would be basically invincibility
 
When do I get a sparrow? Level 10 and doing the campaign, I am having fun but it would be great to travel faster than on foot!

A) get to lvl 20 and get it from a bright engram. not guaranteed

B) beat the campaign and get one for free. guaranteed.

i wish they'd let us get one sooner. i hate running/jumping around everywhere.

Also the white vex stuff does arc damage, so if youre nearby you can shoot forever as long as you keep hopping in and out of the goo. This + devour makes voidwalker an unstoppable killing machine.
