I don't care for the guy since I don't even follow his videos or anything. He made an ugly mistake, fact, but I think some people just want to destroy him for whatever mistake he commits.
Mistake? This was fully intentional. The only "mistake" was saying it while other people were listening. That word doesn't just slip into people's vocabulary on its own. I've never said it, and have no desire to. If you're saying it, there's a reason. And it's very clear from this video what that reason was.
Especially since this ain't PewDiePie's first rodeo. He's been in this situation before. He knows better. But he does this anyway, because it's who he is. There's no mistake about it.
And I don't want to destroy him. I just don't want him to be in a position where he can continue to influence millions of kids around the word every day, teaching them this kinda shit is alright. It's not. But he continues to do it, and that has an impact. That's what has to end. He apparently can't help himself and shows no effort to actually change, despite being given numerous chances and saying he would change, that this time would be different, that he'd never be in a situation like this again, etc. That hasn't held up, and he's unable to change. That being the case, he's got to go, because someone like that influencing kids and teaching them shit is alright, when they themselves clearly know it isn't and keep doing it anyway, is unacceptable.
