Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Any Neogaf clans on PS4 got an open slot? did a small clan with friends but they are not playing as much, so I feel like I am missing out on some good stuff (nightfall and what not). I hit 243 power, I use the mic and can do weekly stuff at night, or during the day sometimes. PSN: Klownboots

Beat the story stuff yesterday. Overall I liked the campaign way more than Destiny 1. More focused narrative, an actual villain, and the final levels were really fun.

Reposting for new page :D

This makes no sense to me, honestly.

It's Monday, so new Milestones start tomorrow.

But more importantly, what's the expectation here? You skip Public Events until 265? Wasn't that one of the Milestones? I remember one of them, I looked at it and was like "I'd have to avoid stuff until 265".

Am I misremembering?

Anyway, my Golden Rule: Don't avoid playing stuff in a game.

Need two for NF on XB1!

Experiencing MAJOR whiplash with the game. I hit 297 Power and it really hit me how meaningless that time was. The game is fun enough I suppose but my addiction was what really kept me going, and now that it has begun to wear off the less compelled I am to keep playing. Gonna stick around for the raid Wednesday but man for better or worse Destiny has been progressively worse at keeping me addicted.

Side Note: Nameless Midnight is one of if not the best Scout Rifle in the history of Destiny.
Destiny is one of those games I have to be REALLY careful to not treat like a part time job. It's just too addicting, I have to control myself or it will eat up my life. Try to get more control over your impulse to play so often and maybe you can enjoy the game more.

This is what scares me.

PVP at the moment is only 'okay' and I can't really see myself wanting to do anything other than the raid since there are no random rolls anymore. Like, it's fun, but it is meaningless fun. The game is already beyond easy so there isn't a real reason to use one gun from another, perk wise.

That being said, as meaningless as it is, at least it's fun. I just wish content was harder, besides the raid.

So is there some trick to getting the "Enhance" quest for
Mida Multi Tool
on EDZ to show up? I'm currently 228 and I've completed the story and all adventures on EDZ and nothing shows up. Is there something I'm missing?

People I need help! I just got to level 20, still playing the campaign. I dont want to screw anything up. There are alot of items that unlocked once I hit 20....do I grab those now? Do I wait until my power level is higher? I'm at 192 right now. Thanks

This is my nightmare.

Slow and easy and fun, that's my motto.

I'm ready for reset lol

Nothing for me to really do now except start a new character which I don't plan on doing on PS4.

Too bad crucible is completely terrible without a full group...

I mean, I agree about the addiction being a large reason to keep playing but if you're at 297 power already then no offense but that's kind of on you if you're getting whiplash. There's not endless content here and there's no need to rush to max power at the moment. I've played a lot but I'm at 283. Gotta slow it down a bit if you want it to last for the long haul.

Honestly I really should have played much more sparingly. I really enjoyed going all out for all 3 big September releases up to this point, but the grind is so streamlined now that I really didn't benefit from playing it this way.

seem to be stuck at PL 269, and I've expended all of the milestones.. all I have left to do is the exotic quests.

From this point on, the weekly resets for milestones/random exotics/trials/raids is the only way to level up, correct?

Bungie should make two public events. One regular and one heroic. That way if you're doing a public event trying to activate a heroic event, it doesn't get fucked up.

So far every game with 3-4 randoms seem to know how to activate them. It's been consistent in my games.

So far, yes.

Fuck Hard Light. Bring back Zhalo Supercell.

I don't understand why they don't buff it... They give it the elemental changes but it's so lame. It has serious recoil issues and it's so hard to track your target with it since it creates a fuckin lightshow.

ALSO WHY YOU TROLLIN ME BUNGO I SEE DEVRAM HAS A NO LAND BEYOND GIMME THAT AND BUFF THE SHIT OUT OF THE MASTER PERK KTNX.

I mean, yeah, to be fair it's through no fault of my own. I think it just sucks that I'm already growing tired when at this point in Vanilla and TTK I was still going strong.

yes, i wouldn't get too burned out about it, the game only came out for a week lol

Can anybody explain why people are suggesting throwing purple mods onto items before infusing? If I have something at 272 and infuse it with a 274, won't it just end up being 274? So what's making it +5 before or after gonna do?

Or do I not understand infusing, and infusing a 272 with a 274 won't actually give me a 274?

Yea,, HL isn't even a good AR. I dunno why they brought this one back outta all the other weapons from D1.

So true. I can't believe there are people who are making multiple characters just to get over 280 light. Given how light works in Destiny, it won't make much difference in the raid.

At what point do the blues go above 260?

for me it was somewhere between 270-274. i just remember I was 275/274 got my Mida to drop at 286 and then legendaries were dropping at 266 up to now 269 on my 279 hunter. but before that my blues were dropping at 265 same as legendaries.

Rolled a warlock last night, got through all the planets to lvl 20 and found third subclass item all in about 5.5 hours. hoping to complete weeklies and finish the story tonight. need 265+ armor though first.

on the contrary, this is a very nice feeling.

In Destiny 1 I was a slave to the weeklies/grinding, but now it seems like there's absolutely nothing else I can do to progress. It feels kind of nice (:

These are the same guys that have an exotic perk for hunter legs that is quickdraw for hand cannons only.

I love Bungie, but I can't wrap my head around some of their decisions.

Okay, when I go to the map of the overworld I'm in, it shows what Lost Sectors I've done by greying out their symbols. My question: do these reset every week? I want to be able to keep track of which ones I've done and which I haven't.

Is there any definitive list now of what activities reset/respawn when? Or rather when you can get rewards from then again? I'm referring to the new on-planet activities. Adventures, lost sectors, flahspoints etc.

Edit: Didnt see above as i was posting this lol... great minds and all

They did, it's called risk runner and it handles terribly. I used it on my first nightfall attempt, it sucked, then i switched to hardlight and lit up everything to death super easy.

It's Zhalo but oh wait you have to be getting hit by arc for it to be fun.

Pretty much only good for using on Fallen.

Plus Zhalo had range... Hell I'd even take Monte Carlo at least that gun looked sweet and controlled well.

They reset when you leave the area. They're just kinda fun to jump into if you're near them and certain adventures and quests will actually utilize them. I wouldn't put too much focus into them other than seeing you're close to one after doing a public event or something else.

Flashpoint is a weekly event.

I dunno about the rest.

I'm only 271 and besides the raid I feel like im pretty much "done". I was never a huge fan of pvp in either game but I couldnt wait to play more pve every day all the way up to a couples months after house of wolves in D1.

Now im thinking i'll get on enough to do the weekly milestones and that'll probably be it for this week...
