You should be seeing spade symbols pop up on the EDZ map now. One for each treasure map. You don't "use" the maps you bought.

It will highlight on the EDZ map Spade icons. Go there and loot them.

I would wait to loot them until you are at least 265 because they do have a chance to pop purples and stuff and if you can get a 265 to pop with a +5 then its gravy.

So I checked off the Nightfall on the Clan tab and my brother got his powerful engram from Hawthorne but she doesn't have one for me. What the hell?

Most of the armors seem to be going for a more WoW / WH40K style massive pauldron thing which looks really dorky to me. I just need some nice Master Chief armor and a sweet old school rifle like No Land Beyond.

Devrim's rifle that you can see him holding in the cathedral looks kinda like that. Wish it was an exotic.

Yeah, I really miss this Halo-ish type of armor for the Titan, I felt like it was Master Chief with magic, which is why I loved how Bungie was designing Titan armors like they were doing Spartan armors in Halo, even some fancy ones from the beginning felt more practical than the ones we are getting with D2 (especially the shoulders):

Looking forward for weapons like No Land Beyond, love this contrast between sci-fi and retro weapon. Bungie have always been good with this mix.

I also miss Warlock having cool shoulders and plate armors. Now it's just clothing unfortunately. :/

-Adjust volume for music.
-See team mates on your map
-Place a waypoint

There is quite a few issues being needlessly dragged over to D2. I'm also a little upset at how empty public event can be. Increase the player instance count. I know it begins to walk a fine line where you could have too many. As it is right now though? The game feels empty at peak times (most of the time)

Agreed with you. Guess bungie is saving it for destiny 3

engrams are now encoded as soon as they pop. If you hover over them you will see the light it will max out at without the +5 armor mode of course.

It's not that it's bad it's just that for a game with so many PvE options limiting the player to player combat to 4v4 seems silly to me. For ranked? Sure. I get it.

But I'm a huge fan of large scale objective based PvP battles. Like Planetside 2 scale or Alterac Valley from World of Warcraft. I always enjoyed stuff like that more and wish Bungie would invest some development time into that. 4v4 is cool but I wish there was more to it.

Goddamnit so I screwed myself? Nooooo. I was reading a level up guide that recommended to get all chests at level 200 to hopefully get to 265 ASAP. Anyway I'll keep my Legendary engrams and Exotics one for that one quest to get Sturm.

Gotta say, while crucible didn't bother me much in the beta, I'm just not having as much fun with the 4v4 now. Feels kind of sterile and nowhere near as hectic. Maybe that'll change when I start getting on with my friends more.

I feel like I spend a lot of time trying to find the battles when in D1 it was almost spawn campy with an enemy nearby as soon as you spawn.

Yup. Far less 1v1s, which sucks.

MIDA says otherwise for PvP. D2 MIDA feels like Y1 Thorn/LTW in that I don't ever want to take it off and put myself at a disadvantage. With the radar changes to ADS, Third Eye is too powerful of a perk for D2.

In a game like D2 where getting the first shot off is paramount, Knucklehead Radar and MIDA are exceptional. Outside of the Third Eye, MIDA makes movement feel more like D1 AND they buffed it to have a scope that highlights enemies!

There are guns that I think are "better" than MIDA, but the sum of it's parts make a pretty strong case for "best option".

yeah i mean tbh none of this seems like it would ever impact me.

if i personally need a specific gun for an activity that's not a gun i like i won't do that activity.

i know there are those that will play the game differently, but this game isn't available to just one or the other

Even the lowest budget games have a music volume slider. I thought they would have added it in the sequel.

I don't have a problem finding people in public patrols, but most seem to gravitate towards Earth because it's easier to get around or it feels like the default planet. I just prefer the look of the EDF. It's like having The Last of Us in my Destiny.

I personally need to knock out the Nightfall, Flashpoint, 2 strikes from Zavala, 1 more mediation, and Crucible quest line. Yeah I'm not gonna make it I spent WAY too much time grinding to 259 on PE and spent all my tokens on Devrim w/o a +5 armor mod.

For every public event, there is a way to trigger a "heroic" version. Heroic version has better loot. The biggest challenge of each public event is to trigger the heroic version before everyone else finishes the normal encounter.

You do a regular public event like you normally would but then there are certain triggers for each one that will turn it into a "heroic" version. Adds an extra boss or something to make it a bit more difficult and you have the chance at a bit better rewards.

I don't have a list of what the triggers are but they were posted in here somewhere.

Truth. One time doing the tank one I was the only one planting the charges, everyone else was just blasting the tank away. I was on the last charge, the timer was going for the plant and they killed it. I was like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
