PewDiePie calls someone a "fucking n****r" during PUBG livestream

So your "friend" said "I'm a black guy" while talking to you..............

Hahaha just caught that, didn't even bother reading it that closely.

This is hilarious to me.

Edit: His post, not Pewdiepie's nonsense obviously. Screw that guy.

The thing that always gets me whenever stuff like this happens (and why the hell does it happen so often) is that these guys are so popular with kids. Generations are being raised on this shit. I know, every older generation complains about the media the youngest generation consumes, but these days they're actually incredibly happy to openly show their prejudice. It's sickening and I really wonder/fear what effect that will have once those kids endlessly watching idiots like that get older and actually have to become functioning members of society.

Meet Idubbbz

A hero who supports bullying

fvvn3Z5.jpg

driving to a different state for the sole purpose of saying the N-Word to another youtuber (granted, the other youtuber is a hypocrite)

Yup, real voice of reason material.

You should also know he has almost 5M subs on youtube

What the fuck...

Gamer culture is pure trash. Shut it all down.

IDK but anyone who looks or sounds like this guy would never be anywhere near my orbit, nor would anyone who takes enjoyment out his videos.

Why do people keep on saying this?

How is it different?

The word is derived from the er variant and is ultimately only fully acceptably used by black people like the er ending that it's made from.

Him saying nigga wouldn't make him any less racist.

Because nigger in the context is used it in was absolutely racist, rather than casually dropping nigga. He was frustrated and upset at whatever player he was targeting, so decides to reduce him to a "nigger" to be insulting. Nothing more needs to be said.

It doesn't matter if the word isn't as taboo as it is in America, none of us are living under rocks. Regardless of where you live, you should know better than to say it, especially when you're broadcasting to thousands, if not millions of viewers.

FFS, use your brain.

Dude, are you from Spain? Because the gypsy part surely remembers my country 😂
Btw, using "nigga" here is nothing outrageous: i think its used because of the pop/rap culture and thats it.
To be honest im surprised to hear the word is really THAT bad when said to a friend like "hey whats up nigga!" without meaning anything racist, just because you saw it on movies and such
Here's a movie where a foreigner says it in a casual way...and the reaction to it is actually realistic and what would happen to you.
https://youtu.be/oN2LJTCBPtg

So yea....just never say any variation of the n word.

Most of these people are either anti-gg or have spoken up about this kind of stuff in the past.

Please tell me my boy Projared isn't a racist moron, that would break my heart.

It would have been a completely different context and would have completely changed this conversation

Sure, he would still be out of his lane to have said it, but the word that ends with the -a is a colloquial word similar to saying 'bro' when used by black people. The word ending with the -er is ALWAYS a racially charged insult in each and every context.

I don't care how many times people try to ignore that distinction, its obvious that you are and people keep looking through it.

If you think it's unfair that black people can use the word ending with -a and you can't then that's a different conversation that any amount of thought would have already answered. If your best friend calls their significant other 'baby' that doesn't give you the social permission to call their significant other "baby" as well. Your friend and their SO have a social contract that makes the use of that word non-awkward but that doesn't extend to anyone outside of them. Similarly, many black people have collectively agreed to a social contract that makes it non-awkward for them to use a modified term as a term of endearment, but only when it is used amongst themselves. At the same time, if you know a black person that is okay with you using either word to them that doesn't extend that social contract to anyone else.

You have every other word in the language, just not this one.

I'll add Kim Justice to that list.

Her videos are really good, but she just upload a video about the whole situation that isn't particularly good. Basically she just call him a "edgy lord" rather than a racist.

He even said he was trying to find the most derogatory term to call the guy. Keep watching. Dude is a weirdo.

AFAIK he says the word (instead of saying "n-word"), but doesn't use it like PDP did.

Well, people wouldn't know if they don't watch the full video, but the girl in the clip that Idubbz is talking about has 2.6 million subscribers and also has videos of her using the n-word and defending her use of it - "it means homeboy where I'm from" (or something like that). Youtube is generally trash.

Because I felt like it? Get off your high horse. If you actually checked my account, you could see that I've been active for a while.

I'm from Hungary, but that doesn't sound much different.

Get off my high horse? Born in the UK and even I don't really use that term. Your English is very good. I'm sure you know enough to understand that your earlier post has no relevance whatsoever why pewdiepie said the word in his stream and therefore wasn't really necessary. He's not the person you are describing.

Keyword is his "wife" though. If he is okay with her calling him a nigga, especially when it's the version of the word that is used between those familiar with each other, then who are we to judge? If she used either "nigger" or even "nigga" when speaking to Martin or Oz and they were not okay with it, then yeah, she would definitely be in the wrong.

Either way, that and the PDP situation are completely different scenarios and it's odd comparing them.

Intent does matter, and there can be no better judge of intent than Korey. If it doesn't upset him fine, it isn't a mandate. If you dislike the use of the word there, you're entitled to that also. I think that's the reality of it.
The fact that he's okay with his wife or other white people calling him a nigga doesn't make it right in the end.

Considering the content they did in the past(which I admittedly find funny). I'm glad Slowbeef, Diabetus and even the RP fans are good people in this whole debacle.

Of fucking course Firewatch would be getting review bombed because of this.

This reminded me when that thing with JonTron happened with yooka-layle

People on steam forums gave bad reviews to the game because JonTron's voice was removed from the game

The Double Toasted guys already made a video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqoGEr2hW7Y&t=0s

Sad when even black kids get desensitized to the word. That's what they want though dumb brothers down so even they don't know their own worth. Kid is lost and I'd not be surprised if more were out there.

Damn shame. This is not an isolated incident and displays the ignorance of the gaming community and audience as a whole. Really sad all around.

So this is the most common defense video people are posting to defend PDP.

https://twitter.com/DopeRapid/status/907281203706855426

Another white guy who casually says Nigger as well as every other racial slur, because he's not offended by it because they're just words to him.

I was waiting for Idubbz to come up. I liked his stuff and put him in the same category as Daniel Tosh. Just stupid edge lord stuff white guys do where they dictate what people should be offended about since they don't mind that they're called crackers. I cringed through the bad stuff and enjoyed the content.

Until he got super self righteous about using the word when he got called.
Dude got up his own ass.

Why would I say the N word I'm not racist.

Edit: I guess that's not the guy from the video, but still.

No, I don't personally think it's fair for Korey to force someone to say the n-word. I'm not sure what you're referencing, I'm guessing Korey leveraging his power as employer for the sake of a joke, but that isn't a stance I'd uniquely take with that word - it would go for many.

What I was talking about in the post you quoted are feelings. They aren't voluntary. I'm saying that you can't dictate how someone should feel about something. You can say, however, I have no respect for someone who would allow that situation. Korey can let someone call him whatever he'd like, and anyone is free to view him poorly for that.

In any case this is a tangent.

the shit ain't right just stupid and makes the show go on some awkward phase, Martin just sits there trying to stop the shit from happening.

That kid on Double Toasted, oh dear. He seemed probably nice but completely deluded, what about the rest of the kids who like Pew. Sad state of affairs.

Okay, I'm gonna stop now, because people seem to think it was in defense of PDP. I know he knows the meaning of the word, and used it as an insult. He's clearly racist. My original post was a response to a guy who got mad at another poster for saying "mah nigga" to his friends.
