I don't get why people think Nintendo would spend time on Metroid: Samus Returns when it's coming out in a few days and is unlikely to have dlc. There's not really anything left to show.

Black screen. SHORYUKEN is heard. Focus on ryu's face. He is cell shading. Zoom out to reveal he is SD. Suddenly he receives a shoryuken from Mario !
Pocket Fighter logo is revealed. It is a 4x4 party fighter with Mario as a Guest Star. Megaman, Felicia and Monster Hunter character are also seen in the trailer.

Very realistic expectations. Of course there will be more games than these, but the main games they will show can be resume to this.

Buy a Wii U, I'm reasonably sure like every Zelda game is available on it between HD Remasters and the Virtual Console. It even has BotW.
They could literally just rebrand the Wii U as the Nintendo Legacy, the only system it's missing games from is GameCube. I have every Mario game on mine except Sunshine.
As much as I want them to, I don't think they're going to announce VC plans before the SNES Mini Classic and the subscription NES games are out.

Disney Afternoon is nice, but I hope that means we get Mega Man Legacy Collection 1+2 as well (I know they didn't work on 2 but no way they'd only port one of them).
That aside, I hope there's not too much Odyssey focus, that'd be lame. Damn I'm excited though, Directs like this are like Christmas.
Edit: Jesus, please don't remind me about From Software, I don't think there's anything I want more in this world than a Dark Souls compilation on Switch.

If Nintendo has anything to announce mobile-wise, it'll be at Apple's conference tomorrow. The Japan Direct already confirmed that there's no mobile content, so any new mobile games aren't being announced there.

My personal expectations are that AC Mobile is delayed until 2018 and the Zelda mobile game is coming this fall. It'd be a good partner to BoTW on Switch and it certainly feels like a "big" partnership that Apple would want. Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem don't have enough instant brand recognition for Apple to want them on-stage.

It doesn't necessarily mean a (or any) Souls game coming to the Switch - though I would like to see some manner of update on that whole "getting Dark Souls to run on the Switch" rumor from previous. Remember, From are already working on around three new projects at the moment, one of them being Armored Core 6 so it could simply be one of said projects confirmed for Switch...that is if they intend to unveil/announce anything new yet.
