So I'm not sure if this is really the best place to ask but say I wanted to get this game and buy a fight stick with it so I can actually learn a fighting game without having to use a goddamn useless controller, what would people recommend getting? I'm getting this game on PS4, but I'd like something I can also throw on to my PC since I have Guilty Gear on that.

Some people apparently recommends Hori or Razor arcade sticks. You could buy PS4 stick, and use it on PC too if you would like to. But I would like to have someone to verify that I'm right.

you dont need a fightstick to learn fighting games, that is a myth.
that being said, since my old PS3 madcatz TE1 (the oldie SF4 one) didnt work on my new PC (something about being incompatible with the mobo) I bought this one last year which was nice and cheap.
I know this, but you understimate the level of treating the end user with mitten gloves marketers take.
It wouldn't surprise me if they actually thought having captain marvel with her ms marvel costume would be confusing to people when Kamala comes out.

It might be that way because we are going to get more downloadable characters so they wouldn't have to call them back to records more I guess? I could be wrong on that matters.
In DS3 he only said a few things during moves but he talked in Cross edge.

Was kinda hoping this was a thing because of the demo builds and stuff, but nope.
They somehow have tons of unique intro lines, but I guess they forgot about the outro's.........
Not that your assumption is wrong, but the game has tons of unique dialogue during intros. I feel like it's weird to have one and not the other. If they omitted them entirely, then that'd be understandable.

That might be their reason, but it's not a good one.
1. They could make lots of character-exclusive lines and then also include a few generics for future DLC.
2. They could just include a large variety of different generic lines.

Someone hit me up when the voice actor credits come out from early copies.
I'm just imagining a session devoted to saying the name of every capcom and marvel character in existence.
I think we know most of the cast already at this point.

This is true, I don't do incredibly bad with a controller. I grew up playing fighters in an arcade and I feel like it would be easier for me to handle. On a regular PS controller, my hand can't seem to do left dragon punches a lot of the time and it pisses me off. I think maybe having an actual arcade stick might alleviate that issue, on top of just I think I'd generally feel more comfortable with it.
Not that I'll ever really be good at fighting games regardless, but eh I have the money for a stick and I like playing them even at my shitty level.
Similar things have happened in other games. Like how the Smash 4 announcer revealed that he was told to read a bunch of names but he had no idea who would actually turn out to be a playable character.

I wonder how much Justin (or others who got an advanced copy) will be able to show off? I'm guessing the embargo (if there is one) probably says "No showing off story mode." or the "Final Boss of Arcade Mode" where you can't show off

Great! Just wanted to know since a friend is selling me one of those adapters this weekend as he's got several laying around. Next week is gonna be great! But man I can't shake off the feeling of cognitive dissonance, as I've been claiming I wouldn't be getting the game on Day 1 and still highly dislike several decisions Capcom has made with it, however here I am, excited for it and looking forward to purchasing it as soon as it is available.
Figured as much, which is why I'm getting that Brook adapter.
