It is no longer there.
Either that was an innocent mistake or someone goofed lol.

Guesses what Nintendos first AAA FPS will be?

Nintendo Japan's Direct "video" has Smash 4 as the featured game.
Hmmm.
It is no longer there.
Yeah I'm betting it was auto tagged by YouTube. I'm guessing YouTube searches the video title or description to try and figure out what game(s) is/are featured, and Smash 4 is the only game with "3DS" actually in the title.

If there is a new Smash, I just really hope they don't add more random 3rd party characters unless they're the random 3rd party characters that I specifically want. Give me Arms and A platoon.
Almost as ridiculous an idea as Mario Rabbids XCOM, right?A mario FPS lol
I mean this would be very, very easy to test tbh
Agreed! He would make sense since he's been here before, and its Snake. We need Snake back at the least.
And Castlevania. Now that Nintendo and Konami actually seem to be on speaking terms again I'm actually pretty hopeful that Snake will be back.
And Castlevania.
If it's DLC, Nintendo should just wait until after the game comes out. They only get criticized for "not giving us a full game" when they announce it prior.
Finishing up the modern DKC trilogy with Kremlings would be great. Here's hoping for Donkey Kong Country: K. Rool's Return announced for early 2018 from Retro and David Wise.
We need Snake back at the least.
I don't see him coming back. The only reason he got in was because Kojima literally begged for it, and not only did Kojima go on to do fuck all for Nintendo since then, he and Konami are not on the best of terms. It would be kinda tasteless to bring him back tbh.
Just don't get your hopes up and then get pissed your high expectations wound up crashing. Hype is a dangerous thing.
Keep those expectations low and you don't have to worry about a long fall.

Sounds like the motto of an alcoholicHype now, consequences later.
Yeah, I simply cannot see Sakurai jumping right into another Smash after just finishing 4. The man needs his breaks from the series with how it keeps almost killing him!
Whatever this was for, I feel it's something brand-new.
I don't think Sakurai is even working on Smash at this point.
If he's working on an original project ala Kid Icarus Uprising, that could lead credence to a Smash 4 Deluxe (like how we got MK8D while that team was working on ARMS), but I'd say that would throw a wrench into the idea of an all new full fledged Smash game coming out, unless Nintendo had the courage to get a new director to fill in his shoes.
This never works for direct threads. Hype now, consequences later.😏
Well Kojima and Sakurai are friends and have a lot of respect for each other. I think Kojima trusts Sakurai to handle Snake respectfully. He was pretty happy with his portrayal in Brawl, wasn't he? And that was with them having to make changes to avoid messing up the rating too badly.
If Konami started making demands about how Snake should be portrayed and dictating too much of his role, then yeah, that wouldn't be too hot. But Sakurai has enough clout at this point that most developers and publishers trust him when it comes to handling their creations. I think Kojima would be happy to see that there's someone treating his series with respect.
Nothing of value is lost here. He stood out like a sore thumb back then and he'd stand out now just as much.

And yet these folks don't "stick out"?
Hard not to be happy when he was the one directly overseeing the character. Konami would probably not want his influence anywhere near Snake and that'd be too much crap for Sakurai to deal with.
