Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Finally got around to playing a few more strikes, I really like the
Arms Dealer and Hive(captured guardians)
ones. The use of the music in both of those was fantastic.
Pyramidion is amazing, up there with Wrath of the Machine in D1 for best looking rooms.

These Strikes are next level: like mini-raids much more so than in D1.

This game.....hooks are in, hard.

Question though DGAF: when I'm out in the wild, is it my equipped gear score that blues are based on or my best possible combo score (including vault?) - I hate most of the blue guns that drop (Scouts galore, give me a good HC/AR why don't you game! My Lionheart is still the best feeling and that's power 115 lol).

I know they said power equipped doesn't matter now for decrypting engrams, but wasn't sure if that applies to blues in the wild.

Quick question, not sure where to ask, so posting it here and the Steam thread:

Wanting the PC version. Does the retail release include a Battlenet code? Is there any other sort of DRM? Will I need the disc in the drive? (I don't have an optical drive in my laptop).

Cheers.

Just now I was watching an old D1 walkthrough for old times sake, noticed a Fallen captain with a blue shield, and immediately got frustrated that the YouTuber couldn't shoot the shield with his energy weapon to make it explode. This game's design is already overwriting my memories of D1.

Just finished the story... That was fun.

So.. I haven't played the first game (past the base game pre-dlc anyway)...

Could someone explain to me (in spoiler tags obviously) the meaning of the post-credit stinger?

Beating nightfall with over 5 mins is just cheap considering the game constantly steals time from you as you've gotta wait for things in the level design.

The 5 minute goal takes into account the fact the level has parts you can't skip and provides more than enough enemies to make up for this. My team finished it with 8 minutes and 30 seconds left on the clock. Not cheap at all in my opinion.

Currently still going through the story but I had a question.

If I go for the full bubble bro skill tree, then does dropping the bubble use up all the super meter?

Its just a teaser. People speculating that the Traveler awaking for a short blast got the attention of "the darkness" and thats who that is meant to be but no one knows.

But people have noticed that those ships where also in old concept art release around the first games announcement and are from a unknown alien race that was cut from D1.

So expect a new major enemy in Destiny 3 or next years major DLC

Huh, so I can't matchmake for Nightfalls. The Guided Games tab says the activity is unavailible at this time, I hope that goes in soon, sounds neat for a solo player like myself.

Anyway, strivedsoul01 on PS4 if any of y'all need a hand (in Aus, which shouldn't matter too much beyond crucible) -- there might be a better thread to drop that info, but here we are for now.

I dont like this pressure to complete stuff that im noticing around this game. Thats the first thing people see; DO a bunch a shit in the first week or youll be left behind!
